The Reflection-Sphere
A reader asks: "What does The School mean when it talks about the reflection sphere? Is it the astral world?"
This nature-order is composed of two halves: a material-sphere and a reflection-sphere. The material-sphere is the physical realm, the region that we live in during our physical lives. The reflection-sphere is the invisible "other side" of which most humans do not become aware of until they pass over. It is the region that the personality passes into after the physical life has ended.
Remember, there is no death. At death, so-called, it is only the physical body and the lower half of the etheric double that are laid aside. As the man's consciousness releases its focus on the physical world, the magnetic bonds that held the physical atoms together are relaxed, resulting in the disintegration of the physical body that we know as decay. All of the elements that composed the physical body are returned to their source, the earth.
The remaining parts of the personality, the parts that most cannot see, continue to have a life of sorts in the reflection-sphere. Here, a kind of slow dissolution also takes place, but over a longer period of time. More on that in a bit.
The reflection-sphere embraces the spheres of "hell" and "purgatory" (the sphere of purification) as well as that which in earthly religions is wrongly called "heaven" or "eternal life". All of these regions of the reflection-sphere are just as temporary and finite as those of the physical world. It is the temporary abode of the so-called dead, which does not imply that the deceased personality will be raised up to a new life. On the contrary, there is no survival of the fourfold personality (physical body, etheric body, astral body, mental body).
As the remains of the fourfold personality ascend through the etheric, astral and mental regions of the reflection-sphere, each of these subtle bodies slowly dissolve, by way of a process. Over time, the remains of the etheric body is dropped, then the astral body disintegrates and finally the mental body follows suit. The only things remaining from the deceased earthly personality is the immortal Divine Spark and four "permanent atoms" that will be used as the blueprint for generating the next personality to return to the material-sphere. The entire process generally takes from 700-1,000 earth years to complete.
The astral realm vibrates at a higher frequency than the physical realm, and possesses peculiar properties of reflection, hence the name reflection-sphere. Man's thoughts and desires radiate from his light-vesture and are attracted to similar thoughts and desires that have accumulated in our astral atmosphere ( "like attracts like" ). The astral realm then mirrors, or reflects these thoughts and desires back to humanity, who, having an affinity to these thoughts and desires, invariably act upon them, ultimately radiating those vibrations once again back to the reflection-sphere. Hence the circuit is closed and mankind is trapped within a deadly embrace.
The above interaction accounts for how aeons are formed. This symbiotic cycle of dependency between man and the astral world has resulted in the establishment of countless reflection-sphere brotherhoods, as well as a proliferation of "light-spirits", "ascended masters", "invisible colleges", etc., etc. All of these reflection-sphere phenomena can only survive by way of the forces that are transmuted and radiated by billions of human-beings. We are their "food". Mankind's astral radiations are the ambrosia, the "food of the gods". It is by ingesting and assimilating the light-forces emanating from mankind that these astral entities are able to prolong their stay in the reflection-sphere. They do not wish to return to physical incarnation.
Of course, this give-take-give relationship must result in some unhealthy associations between human and astral entities. As humans are mostly unaware of this on-going parasitic astral activity, they are easily victimized by those on the other side who are absolutely aware of how this works and recognize that the prolongation of their lives in the reflection-sphere depends upon the continued availability of light-power that can only be provided by humans in physical bodies. This is why the ancients maintained that:
"Man does not live, he is lived".

According to what we recon it does not take that long to complete.Have youbread this book of Pr Ian Stevenson and Jim Tucker.
I am African and what witness over there confirm the result of this professor. It is less than 700 earth years.

700-1,000 years are not numbers pulled out of a hat. Every zodiacal age spans approximately 2,160 years. Human personalities incarnate twice during an Age, alternating sex each time, it is said.
Regular souls will incarnate at 1,000 year intervals. More advanced souls will incarnate at 700-year intervals, as they do not need to spend as much time in the reflection-sphere between incarnations.
It is said that time in the astral realms progresses at a significantly faster pace than on earth. 700-1,000 years may seem like a long time on earth, but it is but a brief stay in the reflection-sphere.
Whatever the intervals may be, the important things to remember are these:
- reflection-sphere life is temporary
- there is no 'eternal' life in the natural heaven-worlds of the reflection-sphere
- man is stuck on a never-ending Wheel of Death and Rebirth; he needs to realize this and take steps to get off this Wheel, permanently.

Hi. As serious students, we can only take the word of books to rationalism it without direct experience, how come more people do not get to see the workings of this sphere that could speak about it and the entities or groups in there.
I guess other groups and earth speak about the after life but in a different way that is not liberating.
Is our "mankind" one of infinite number of mankinds in an infinite number of finite nature orders?
How come money rules the world?
In terms of supporting your earthly life, are you working 9-5 type job with mortgage etc? Do you need to be wise with financial matters to survive? Do you find it difficult or do things go smoothly?

With all of its struggle, violence, frustration and disappointments many are completely satisfied with material life. Although there is a constant undercurrent of unpleasantness, they try to combat this by pursuing some ephemeral "happiness", either for themselves or for others. They work to make a paradise of the physical world, which cannot be done. When introduced to the transfiguristic philosophy, one that states without pretense that we must leavethis world to achieve true liberation, their "I" recoils in fear and they either lash out or withdraw. Not all are ready for the Gnosis.
There are countless religions and spiritual movements that claim to have "the answer" when, in reality, they have only a piece of the Truth, or nothing at all. It has been proven that if a group takes a kernel of Truth and wraps complete falsehood around it, people will respond to that muffled kernel of Truth while dismissing all that is false about a movement. By this method, billions are misled daily, living what they believe to be pious lives. In fact, they are being led straight to the reflection-sphere by these religious brotherhood. They die without an inkling of how far away from the Truth they really were.
Our mankind is but one of myriads of mankinds inhabiting myriads of galaxies populating myriads of universes. With the exception of a very few, most of these entities, no matter how highly evolved are fallen entities, struggling to escape this fallen realm, the Seventh Cosmic Domain, but not knowing how.
It is not money, per se, that rules the world. It is the selfish desire of humans to acquire happiness and comfort for themselves in whatever way possible. The root of evil in this world is S-E-L-F-I-S-H-N-E-S-S.
i avoid personal focus, but will try to answer your final questions as briefly and succinctly as possible. Yes, i have a job, children, earthly obligations and responsibilities. These are things that must be attended to. The time of the hermit who escapes humanity by living in a cave is long past. We who are of the Gnosis must live among the people, always remembering to be in the world but not of the world.
No matter what earthly task we are engaged in, as long as we keep the knowledge that we have an opened Rose of the Heart and a firm link with the Universal Gnostic Chain, we can remain free. We work, as we must, but as soon as an earthly task is completed, our thoughts should turn back to things of the Spirit, thoughts of the Gnosis.
The School makes very few demands of its pupils. Vegetarianism, no drugs, no nicotine, no alcohol. A celibate lifestyle is requested, but not demanded. True pupils will follow those basic requirements freely, as they will realize that the New Soul cannot be born if we are polluting the physical, astral and mental bodies at the same time. These habits of behavior will only bring harm to the pupil, as their effects will not mesh well with those of the purifying Gnostic radiations.
No one is forced to attend any of the conferences, lectures or meetings that are offered by the School. Everything about the Path entails a voluntary effort by the pupil to do that which is needful. He or she cannot and will not be forced. Liberation is in their hands. The School simply provides the necessary insight and the power-field to assist in the Great Work.
A "fulfilling" life is not the aim of a serious pupil, as we know that no happiness can be found on the earth-plane. Our joy lies in the knowledge that we have found at last, within this incarnation, the Golden Thread that will lead us away from this earthly vale of tears and back to the Divine Kingdom, back to our Original Home.

It is a pleasure to read you, in fact, concerning the time it takes to reincarnate.
I have read carefully your answer and the elements you have presented, however they are not convincing enough, because you speak to us of the duration of an era, and especially that it is said , one can reincarnate Only twice during an era.
I know that we exchange on spiritual matters.Maybe you never bothered to scrutinize that aspect of things.
The second things i just read on you blog is "A celibate lifestyle is requested" in fact it seem that you are conveying here your understanding of the teaching of the lectorium who is not what the lectorium teaches.
Celibacy is an extremely advanced stage.There comes a stage, indeed, when the alchemist reaches the stage where he needs to practise celibacy. He will KNOW, 100% sure, when he has reached that stage. We're not talking about a vague feeling here, we're talking about total knowledge, without any doubt.
Beginning alchemist thinks he is very close to victory, and is wondering whether he should start practising celibacy. This is another one of those things where the ego is keen to jump in and suggest to the alchemist that he's ready for this. He feels noble and spiritual and thinks that he can take on celibacy any time he likes.over the past millennia thousands of people have tried to practise celibacy. It didn't get them one inch closer to liberation, as with abstinence from eating meat etc, or practising charity. When it's the ego doing something, it always, without exception, results in pain, suffering and misery, often for several incarnations.

Sexual intercourse was provided to humanity with one purpose in mind: the propagation of the human races. It was never intended for recreational use, as humans now believe.
People feel that it is their right to have as much sex as they want, when they want, how they want and with whoever or whatever they want. They are wrong on all counts. Again, there is only one valid purpose for human-beings to unite in sexual union, and that is for the purpose of providing a physical vehicle for an incoming human soul.
Celibacy when practiced for occult purposes has its dangers, agreed. Celibacy when practiced by those who still desire sex will also present dangers, agreed. None of this means that the avoidance of recreational sex should not be a requirement for walking the Path. Recreational sex is a bad habit that humanity picked up on our way to Hell long ages ago. We have become attached to the sensations, the control patterns, the illicitness, all of the vibrations that come with abusing the sex function. When anyone suggests that we must rid ourselves of this bad habit, the I-being immediately rises up in defense of its right to "pleasure".
In the Sixth Cosmic Domain, a partner of opposite polarity is not required in order to generate a new personality. So what is the candidate on the Path going to do with those earthly sexual urges? He can't take it with him. Just like he cannot take the habits of smoking nicotine, drinking alcohol, ingesting narcotics or eating animal carcasses with him. So where does the candidate begin to break those habits? It has to start in the here and now.
No one is forced to give up any of those things. One can join the School and retain every vice under the sun, if they so choose. The result will be no result. He or she may think that they are making progress on the Path, but they will only be deluding themselves. All of those vices do harm to the subtle vehicles of man, the very same vehicles that are required for transmutation and the birth of the New Soul.
If people are married or in a relationship, the decision on what to do about the question of sex is up to them. It's possible that you are aware that there are two creative centers in the human body. One is in the pelvic region, the other in the area of the throat. Whenever that creative energy is expended downwards, it is done at the expense of the higher creative function.
At the very least, recreational sex should be avoided. It is a waste of a creative energy that was given to man to use for a Higher Purpose. There are also elements of control, conquest, licentiousness, etc. that come to the fore when humans have sex for the sole purpose of satisfying their own selfish desires.
The use of the word 'celibacy' may not have been prudent, as it has historically had a negative religious connotation. The word 'abstinence' is probably not much of an improvement. Let's put it this way: it's better for one to not abuse the sex function if one is determined to remove as many obstacles as possible from one's Path.
The road to Liberation is a straight and narrow way. It does not compromise. Those who are not ready to walk this straight and narrow Path towards the Greater Harvest may have to opt for the Lesser Harvest, which will also lead humans to Liberation some day, but at a slower pace.

In practising abstinence, I have experienced nocturnal emissions while sleeping/dreaming. I guess there is still desirous feelings there somewhere. This is not an easy task to be free from male/female attraction though sometimes I am not sure what or why I have experienced these nocturnal emissions.

Do not despair. These things will happen. Remember that although we are involved in the Great Work of building the New Soul, a reborn Divine microcosm, we are simultaneously still prisoners of the old nature-born microcosm. Speaking organically, we have to retain the use of the natural vehicles in order to navigate the natural world. Unfortunately, our nature-born vehicles still tend to respond to certain physical-plane stimuli, that's just the way things are.
When such things as what you've described occur involuntarily and outside of our conscious control, we can characterize it as we would a sneeze or a cough. There could be reasons behind these types of emissions that have little to do with hidden desires or preoccupation with sex. What's important is what transpires after we experience such events. Do we dwell on them in an unnatural way? Is our focus diverted away from the Gnosis and towards things of a lower and much more base level? Do we spiral off into a prolonged period of ill-advised behaviors?
Events like these, and some dreams as well, can take over the thought processes of the candidate in a detrimental way. They can act as triggers. To allow these things to become ongoing distractions is what we should really be concerned about. Although it may be difficult to do, the best response to such events or dreams is to pay them no mind. Do not beat yourself up over things that took place while you were in a semi-conscious state. That is the I-being trying to tempt and control us. It is the I-being working to lead us astray, using whatever weakness it can find in us to do so.
Yes, it is very hard to free ourselves from the male-female dynamic into which we have been indoctrinated. The attraction will always be there, it is what we do with it that matters. It is better to see another human-being and appreciate that individual as a brother or sister soul, not as an object for our personal pleasure. We can appreciate the attraction without immediately drifting over into the sex lane.
People are fond of saying, "but this is natural". Yes, sexual attraction is a natural function, required for the continuance of the race, but the misplaced focus on abusing the sex function and indulging in counter-natural sexual practices has been a millstone around mankind's collective necks since Atlantean times. We, as microcosms, are still trying to recover from that. The archons and aeons of this nature are doing their best to further that agenda. As long as humanity is focused on their genitals, there is not much room left for contemplation of the Higher Life.
We, as microcosms, have a body. We are not our body. Sometimes the physical instrument will do things outside of our ability to control. It is to our benefit to not get hung up over our bodily functions. That's kind of what brought us to this evolutionary low point to begin with. Recognize that the I-being will use all means at its disposal to knock you off your square, to breed doubt and uncertainty within you, to lead you away from the Gnosis and back to the twin detours of Pleasure and Sensation, the paths of least resistance.
Try not to feel positively or negatively about your experience. Remain neutral, objective, unattached. Do not focus undue attention upon such events. Remember, what we focus upon, grows. Acknowledge the experience and then continue your journey on the Path, looking neither to the left, nor to the right.

Jan van Rijckenborgh says in Dei Gloria Intacta that sexuality is removed by the candidate who has achieved the Mars initiation. This comes after the Mercury and the Venus initiation, and so that's very advanced. Until then we all have to put up with our sexual urges, as we do with our need to eat, sleep and have relaxation. The important thing is not to let it dominate our life, and we need to practise high moral standards in this area.
Sex cannot be grouped with eating and sleeping. One has to eat and sleep regularly in order to maintain some sort of health for the physical body. Not so with sex. There is no need or reason for humans to have sex on a regular basis, outside of the efforts required to procreate. One can live a perfectly decent life, probably a superior one, without sex.
If a candidate is not ready or does not have the will or desire to eliminate recreational sex from his or her life, that candidate is welcome to stay in that place. However, that candidate should be forewarned that he or she can expect to encounter some serious obstacles in their effort to purify the microcosm. It eventually comes down to a single question: what is more important, freedom to abuse the sex function or completing the task that we have been given to restore our microcosm to its Original Divine state and a return to the Divine Kingdom?
Those candidates who are serious about walking the Path of Return will recognize that they are walking a path of self-freemasonry. It is we (and we're not speaking from an I-central point-of-view here) who will "initiate" ourselves, by doing what it takes to purify the mental (Mercury), astral (Venus) and etheric-physical (Mars) vehicles. It is we, as image-bearers who are tasked to do the work of building a new microcosmic edifice alongside the old one. That said, every candidate must go at their own pace. Take a step, pause and be sure of one's footing before taking the next step.
Self-surrender, the third aspect of the fivefold Gnosis, requires that the candidate lay down all the things of this nature. One by one, we must divest ourselves of the trappings of Matter. It is said that "flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of Heaven". We can extend that to read "flesh, blood, sex, drugs, rock 'n' roll and all self-indulgent, self-focused behaviors cannot inherit the Kingdom of Heaven".
No, these things are not easy to consider or to accomplish. If that were so, the entire human race would have achieved Liberation from matter long ages ago. But these things can be accomplished. The Christ showed the way and worked to make it easier for future generations to succeed when He "took away a third of the power of the aeons" during His journey through the spheres after having appeared to have expired. We no longer have to put up with any of our unholy urges. Instead, we have to decide whether we are truly ready to permanently give up the earthly pleasures that keep us enslaved or if we are just play-acting at our candidacy.
Those who can, will. Those who can't, won't. Each will have his own result.

How do you know if you are being used by entities from the reflection sphere? Are you saying one should not listen to wisdom from ascended masters?
