Live The Path
The Path is a reality. It is not just some ideal. It is not a series of exercises or lessons. The Path of Return is a living phenomena, and as such it must be lived.
Every moment of every day, the life of the candidate should be a reflection of what the Path requires: self-surrender, non-attachment, neutrality, objectivity, understanding for those who are not on the Path, love for all, especially those whom we have been taught to hate, longing for Liberation.
Even when engaged in something that requires our full attention, we must always be cognizant of the Fire that is burning within our heart sanctuary. Once our earthly duty has been completed, our focus should return to what we are trying to accomplish. Maintain equilibrium. If we allow ourselves to be buffeted to and fro by all of the sensations, temptations and impacts of the natural world, our pupilship will suffer.
Although we are presently inhabiting two worlds, be reminded that we are engaged in the process of leaving one world and entering another. Also remember that this is a group effort. You have brothers and sisters the world over who are engaged in the same Great Work. Together we form cells in the Living Body of the Gnosis. Physical proximity is no barrier to our collective unity. We are all connected through the agency of the Thirteenth Aeon, the Ark that has descended once again to retrieve that which was lost.
This is your New Life. The old must pass away. As Joseph Campbell once stated:
"We must give up
The life we have planned,
In order to have the Life
That is waiting for us"

Hi Brother Gee
First of all thank you very much for the effort you put into your blog. I find some of the schools teaching a bit abstract and hard to put into practice.Sometimes its like reading a legal document and you just wish it could be put into plain English.
So my question is, the soul consists of three grades of astral substance, school calls them head, heart and hands.This drives our thinking,feeling and actions depending upon our karma.What I do not understand is that school says the astral substance is drawn into seven cavities in the mind.Does that means there are seven grades of astral substance instead of the above head, heart and hands? What do these cavities do? My understanding was that the astral substance went into the middle cavity and the other energies coming from the 12 aeons,etheric,mental and serpent fire filled the other cavities.
Also what is astral substance? We talk about astral fluid as one of the five aspects of the soul. Is it in the astral atoms or as I've read about, is it astral light which pervades the astral world and so there is no darkness there. Please forgive my ignorance but I really would like to know. Thank you.
astral (adj.) c. 1600, "pertaining to the stars," from Late Latin astralis, from Latin astrum "star," from Greek astron "a star". Meaning "pertaining to supersensible substances" is from 1690s, popularized late 19c. in Theosophy.
There is a cosmic root substance from which all universes, galaxies, star systems, planets and all creatures are created. As this cosmic root substance changes in vibration, it takes on different properties.
The omniverse is essentially divided into seven Cosmic regions, or planes, all composed of varying densities of this astral root substance. The highest Cosmic Plane vibrates the fastest, the lowest Plane vibrates the slowest. We are in the lowest region, the 7th Cosmic Domain, the Cosmic Physical Plane. This plane is further sub-divided into seven sub-planes.
Because we do not have the necessary sense organs, most human-beings are unable to consciously see into the astral realms. We do catch a glimpse during sleep. It should be noted that all astral planes exist within the same space, as it were. Though unseen, we interact with and are influenced by these astral energies all the time.
Re: Head, heart and hands
There are essentially seven grades of astral matter. The mortal human soul is composed of three types of this astral matter, or ethers. From highest to lowest, the mortal soul-bodies are:
Mental Body (Head, Thought-ether)
Desire, or Emotional Body (Heart, Astral-ether)
Etheric Double (Hands, Vital ether)
Physical Body (Hands, Solids-Liquids-Gases)
Re: Seven cavities
There are seven cavities in the head sanctuary, seven cavities in the heart sanctuary and seven in the pelvic sanctuary. In the nature-born man these cavities are filled with the astral substance of the natural universe. This astral substance is permeated by the power of the aeons of this nature and constantly bombards us. Because man is a nature-born creature, these vibrations are easily assimilated by the head sanctuary (like attracts like). Man's thoughts are thus completely influenced by his aeonic masters.
Re: five soul-fluids
The five soul-fluids are:
the consciousness fluid
the serpent-fire
the hormonal secretions
the nerve fluid
the blood
The first three fluids above are composed of varying grades of astral matter. The nerve fluid is more astral-etheric, while the blood is more of an etheric-physical substance.
Within the head sanctuary, there are twelve cranial nerves. The influence of the twelve aeons are first assimilated by the twelve lights of the lipika which, in turn, transmits those impulses to the corresponding cranial nerves. The human-being then acts according to the aeonic impulses received, he cannot do otherwise. Here lies the root of the old axiom:
"Man does not live, he is lived."
For the reasons outlined above and many others, we must purify our vehicles so that we can begin to receive a pure, Divine Astral Substance.

Thank you Brother Gee for your description on how this universe is formed. It comes from the cosmic root substance which changes in vibration and then takes on different properties. So we could say that from GOD to matter is only a question of vibration.
Your comment about why we must purify our vehicles so that we can begin to receive the pure divine astral substance, also rang a bell in me! If this life, where we get all our experiences from is so influenced by the aeons it would be impossible to raise our consciousness to a higher level. The saying of being in the world but not of the world comes to mind and whether we are directed towards the ego or towards the other one in us.
Could I ask you another question please? Are we in the cosmic physical plane or outside it? Jakob Bohme said because we have separated from GOD we have been put in jail so to speaks. Your thoughts please.

This is an excellent observation. Well put.

The consciousness of our life-wave is focused upon the Cosmic Physical Plane, the 7th Cosmic Domain. Our microcosms and our personalities vibrate to the frequency of this domain, so yes, we are "in" the Cosmic Physical.
There is a border region that separates the Cosmic Physical Domain from the six higher domains. It is not a physical border, but a frequency barrier. This is the barrier that quarantines us, and isolates us from the Divine Realms.
In order to re-establish contact with The All, that frequency barrier must be bridged. The human-being has the tools to cross this barrier (Divine Spark, chakra system, the five soul-fluids, the endocrine system, hormonal fluids, etc.) but these tools are presently used solely for earthly purposes. Man has to be taught the right purpose and use of these assets in order to understand the task that lies before him. To do this, Divine messengers are sent to humanity and mystery schools are established.
Man is in a prison, but it is a prison without walls. It is a prison of consciousness. Man has the potential to escape this prison and to consciously experience all Seven Cosmic Domains simultaneously. Man is potentially a multi-dimensional being. Sadly, we are unable to exercise our multi-dimensionality because we are currently trapped in the lowest of the Seven Cosmic Domains.
As the holy language states, many millions of years ago, we "looked in the mirror and fell in love with our reflection". As a result, Divine messengers must be sent to rouse us from this hypnotic slumber, and help us shake off the Sleep of the Ages.

Thank you for this post, Brother G... I really want to life the path, however I often experience so much sorrow for not being a reflection of what the path requires. Often I find myself doing the opposite and experience the deep feeling of sadness not only my own but also the other persons with whom I have had a disagreement with.
"So, I find the law that when I want to do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God in my inner being. But I see a different law in my members waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that is in my members. Wretched man that I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin." Romans 7:21-25

Despair not, my friend. What you are experiencing is part of the Process, and is to be expected.
When we find the Path and make the decision to walk it, we are overjoyed with the enthusiasm of a young child, knowing that true Glory lies at the end of the journey. Our enthusiasm is quickly tempered by a difficult reality: that our nature-born "I" bars the door, it is the Dweller On The Threshold. To borrow a video-game term, it is the "Boss" that we must defeat to get to the Next Level.
The "I" is not alone in its defense of its natural existence. It has behind it the forces of all the aeons of this nature, working incessantly to drag you back down from the prison fence you are trying to climb over.
Probing, testing, goading, tempting, these forces will do anything, use anyone - including friends and family - to get us to lose our Focus and return to "the old ways". Yes, they will occasionally succeed, especially when we first start on the Path. This is why humility is considered an important part of the Path. We must understand that we are going to fail, and learn to not become disappointed when we do.
Remember, there are two entities now occupying your microcosm. The natural "I" is busy presenting the obstacles that cause us to "fail". The Other One, the Warrior within, the Gnosis, patiently accepts any defeat as a part of doing business in this battle to free the microcosm from duality. It remains steady and effective, dedicated to its work of purifying the microcosm.
See your glass as half-full, not half-empty. Years ago, would you have cared or been concerned about how you behaved or how you treated others? Most likely not. You are now examining your thinking, your feeling, your willing and your actions. This is an indicator of the progress that has been made, and is the promise of what is still to come.
Maintain your equilibrium. Do not take "failure" personally. Examine the root causes for your behavior, make a mental note to not succumb to those influences again, and move on. Always dust yourself off and continue moving forward in the Gnosis. The "I" is going to fight relentlessly (at first) because it does not want to be erased. The aeons of this nature are going to fight because they do not want to lose you as an energy source. Every time one of us walks the Path, it weakens the nature-aeons. Eventually, however, they will wither under the power of the Gnosis and leave you alone to pursue easier game. Thanks Be!
You have awakened the Spark and made the decision to voluntarily walk the Path of Return. Understand that Victory is assured at the start, even though you have miles to walk. With persistence, humility, steadfastness and determination, the Power you carry within will overcome all obstacles and return you safely Home.

also when can we stop leaving in two worlds and only occupied one planet?
Can you please give us an approximate time period, where the old world will end and we can move on to the new one.

In case the foregoing did not make it clear...things are well underway.
Keep your Lamps lit. Do not be led astray. Do not be caught naked.
The rending of the veils between Worlds is sudden. It will happen in the twinkling of an eye.
Live each moment as if today were That Day and you will have nothing to fear. Love and Serve your Brothers and Sisters unceasingly and unselfishly. That is the price of admission that must be paid in order to gain entry into the New World.
