There are many for whom the Qualification of Desirelessness is a difficult one, for they feel that they are their desires- that if their distinctive desires, their likes and dislikes, are taken away from them, there will be no “self” left. But these are only they who have not seen the Master; in the light of His holy Presence all desires die, but the desire to be like Him. Yet before you have the happiness of meeting Him face-to-face, you may attain Desirelessness. Discrimination has already shown you that the things which most men desire, such as wealth and power, are not worth having. When this is really felt, not merely said, all desire for them ceases.
Thus far all is simple; it needs only that you should understand. But there are some who forsake the pursuit of earthly aims only in order to gain heaven, or to attain personal liberation from rebirth. Into this error you must not fall. If you have forgotten self altogether, you cannot be thinking when that self should be set free, or what kind of heaven it shall have. Remember that all selfish desire binds, however high may be its objects, and until you have gotten rid of it you are not wholly free to devote yourself to the work of the Master.
When all desires for self are gone, there may still be a desire to see the result of your work. If you help anybody, you want to see how much you have helped him; perhaps even you want him to see it too, and to be grateful. But this is still desire, and also want of trust. When you pour out your strength to help, there must be a result, whether you can see it or not; if you know the Law you know this must be so. So, you must do right for the sake of the right, not in the hope of reward. You must work for the sake of the Work, not in the hope of seeing the result. You must give yourself to the service of the World because you love it and cannot help giving yourself to it.
Have no desire for psychic powers; they will come when it is best for you to have them. To force them too soon often brings in its train much trouble; often their possessor is misled by deceitful nature-spirits or becomes conceited and thinks he cannot make a mistake. In any case, the time and strength that it takes to gain them might be spent in work for others. They will come in the course of development - they must come; and if the Master sees that it would be useful for you to have them sooner, He will tell you how to unfold them safely. Until then, you are better without them.
You must guard, too, against certain small desires which are common in daily life. Never wish to shine, or to appear clever; have no desire to speak. It is well to speak little; better still to say nothing, unless you are quite sure that what you wish to say is true, kind, and helpful. Before speaking think carefully whether what you are going to say has those three qualities; if it has not, do not say it.
It is well to get used even now to thinking carefully before speaking; for when you reach Initiation you must watch every word, lest you should tell what must not be told. Much common talk is unnecessary and foolish. When it is gossip, it is wicked. So be accustomed to listen rather than to talk. Do not offer opinions unless directly asked for them. One statement of the Qualifications gives them as follows: to Know, to Dare, to Will, and to be Silent; and the last of the four is the hardest of them all.
Another common desire which you must sternly repress is the wish to meddle in other men's business. What another man does, says, or believes is no affair of yours, and you must learn to let him absolutely alone. He has full right to free thought and speech and action, so long as he does not interfere with anyone else. You yourself claim the freedom to do what you think proper; you must allow the same freedom to him, and when he exercises it, you have no right to talk about him.
If you think he is doing wrong, and you can contrive an opportunity of privately and very politely telling him why you think so, it is possible that you may convince him; but there are many cases in which even that would be an improper interference. On no account must you go and gossip to some third person about the matter, for that is an extremely wicked action.
If you see a case of cruelty to a child or an animal, it is your duty to interfere. If you see anyone breaking the law of the country, you should inform the authorities. If you are placed in charge of another person in order to teach him, it may become your duty gently to tell him of his faults. Except in such cases, mind your own business, and learn the virtue of Silence.

Who Am I?
Where Did I Come From?
Why Am I Here?
What Is My Purpose
Where Am I Going?
When Will I Go?
WHO Am I?
You are a temporary personality that has been generated by an immortal microcosm. Your microcosm is the immortal you. It was once Divine in its nature and consciously connected with Spirit. You, as a physical personality, are a temporary instrument, subject to change and decay. The only part of the personality that is immortal is the Divine Spark located in the center of the microcosm. That location roughly corresponds to the upper portion of the heart. The Divine Spark is not a physical phenomenon. It's influence cannot be expressed physically. It must first be awakened from its slumber.
WHERE Did I Come From?
You are a part of a huge human life-wave consisting of billions of microcosms. Speaking microcosmically, our life-wave is Divine and Immortal. However, through a process, we collectively "fell" into this 7th Cosmic Domain, the Physical Universe. To be more precise, we fell in consciousness. We fell so severely that we lost our conscious connection with Spirit. We no longer receive impulses, suggestions, and guidance from the Divine Realms. Instead, we follow our "I", the Ego, which is poorly equipped to make good decisions. Although we have no memory of our Divine origins, the Spark that sleeps within our microcosm remembers, and dreams of a Return.
WHY Am I Here?
The verdict is split. Some teachings maintain that we "fell" due to disobedience. Others maintain that we - as Divine Sparks - were sent on a Journey of Discovery y the Logos. We were to descend in consciousness from the Divine Worlds into the Physical World where we would gain countless experiences over eons of time. At a given point, we were to ascend again, returning to our Divine Home.
WHAT Is My Purpose?
The way Home requires that we raise the vibration of our microcosm to match that of the Divine Realms. We can imagine this as we would imagine a shipwreck resting at the bottom of the sea. The only way to raise the ship to the surface is to attach huge balloons inside and outside of the sunken vessel, inflate the balloons, and allow the ship to float to the surface.
We must purify and cleanse our microcosm, which has been polluted by our flawed and selfish Thinking, Feeling, and Acting here in the Physical World. Once we are free of this negative ballast, we can begin our Journey Home.
WHERE Am I Going?
Home.
WHEN Will I Go.
As stated above, when you have begun the process of awakening your Divine Spark, birthing a new Soul, and purifying your microcosm, you will be ready to walk the Path of Return.

The following presentation is a follow-up to a previous posting of Egyptian Hermeticism entitled "The Sealed Word in the Great Pyramid" which was published on this blog in February of 2022.
The overall theme of this short video presentation is to reveal ancient Egypt's place in human history as a caretaker of the Gnosis and the cradle of Initiation.

We "Only Live Once", so
....we should have as much fun as we can
... we should do whatever makes us happy
... we should not care what happens to ourselves or to others
... we should try to get the most out of life
... we should live like there's no tomorrow
Throw this insipid slogan out the window, close the window, and draw the blinds closed.
You live more than once. In fact, you have lived many thousands of lives, accumulating millions of years of experience along the way.
And when we say "you" we mean "you" as the current and most recent personality to inhabit your microcosm. Your microcosm is the eternal life-system that generates the temporary physical personality. For each new life, a new personality is created.
The purpose of each new personality is to liberate the microcosm from its separated existence and reunite the entire life-system with the Universal Spirit. This is the mission that is entrusted to every new personality that incarnates on Earth. If the personality does not accomplish the mission during its lifetime, it will be dissolved and a new personality will be generated by the microcosm in approximately 1,000 years to make a fresh attempt at Liberation.
This new personality will not be "you" as you know yourself to be now. It will be a completely different personality, perhaps male, perhaps female. The memory of yout experiences will be stored in the microcosm and will become a part of that new personality's subconscious life. Nothing of the "you" that is reading this post today will remain to return for the next life generated by your micrcosm.
Unless...
Unless you are able to find the true Path of Return in this life and walk this Path with diligence in this life. Detach yourself from duality and discard the illusion of separateness, the heresy that says you are separate from all other human beings. If you can open your heart and expose your Spirit-spark to the Divine radiations emanating from the Universal Spirit, then you will be granted the power to walk this Path. In doing so, you will attain a necessary purification that will lead to a transformation of the ethers that compose your physical, etheric, astral and mental bodies. This transformation will open the way for the birth of a new Soul vehicle that will have the ability to reconnect with Spirit and transform you into a Divine human being.
But you will have to do the work. You will have to obtain the necessary insight and make a fundamental reversal in your way of living. If you can do these things, then when death (so-called) comes knocking, you will not be dissolved into nothingness but will live on to complete the transformation in a sphere of Life reserved for all those who sincerely walk the Path of Return during physical life.
So, to say that we "only live once" and to then live recklessly is an incredible stupidity born out of ignorance of the Truth.
The human being is twofold, As physical beings, we are temporary. But our microcosm and the Spirit-spark at its center are eternal.
The task of the temporary human-being (you) is to awaken the sleeping eternal Soul principle (the Spirit-spark) and reconnect with the Divine Universal Spirit (God).
As given to us by Hermes Trismegistus:
"See, my son, this is the guide on the Way that leads to Freedom: you must give up your Body before it dies and overcome the Life of Conflict. Then, if you have won that victory, you will return to the Highest"
~g
WHO ARE YOU, TRULY?
We all have a unique inner greatness just waiting to be developed.
It is up to each of us to realize this and foster it into maturity.
Trust your intuition and inner guidance on this Path.
We are here on earth to gather certain experiences, meet certain people
and gain certain insights in order to discover who we truly are.
In fact, it is a re-discovery of what we were and knew before
but have lost among the distractions of material life.
You are a god in embryo
You are a god waiting to be reborn.
Remove the veil

Despite rumors to the contrary, there is a reason for our being here in the physical world.
Fame? Fortune? Fun?
No, no, and no.
Experience?
Well, although experience is a key function of existence in this nature-order, it is not our main purpose.
We are dual beings. We are both mortal and immortal. The mortal parts of us - the body and the mortal soul - are temporary. They come and go via the ever-turning Wheel of Death and Rebirth.
The immortal parts of us - the microcosm and the divine Spirit-spark at its center - are eternal. They survive physical death. They persist and accompany us throughout all of our incarnations. In fact, it is the microcosm that "incarnates", not the personality. The microcosm creates a new personality for each new incarnation. We are merely the latest personality to inhabit our microcosm.
Our immortal microcosms are trapped in a world of mortality. They have been estranged from their divine origins for millions of years. The only way of escaping this mortal prison is via the personality that is created for each life.
It is the task of the human personality
to reestablish contact with Divine Source while on Earth. If the personality
does not accomplish this task, it will be dissolved via the agency of decay
that we call 'death'. The mortal soul will also vanish but at a slower rate. Eventually,
all that remains will be the emptied microcosm and the immortal Spirit-spark.
In approximately 700 to 1,000 years, a new personality will be created and charged
with the same task: Liberation from Matter.
Strive to obtain insight (self-knowledge)
into the truth about yourselves and about the Path of Return that is waiting
for you. Reconnect with the immortal Spark of Light that smolders within your
heart. The Spark needs you to fan it into a Flame - a Flame that will purify
your microcosm, immortalize the personality, and free your consciousness from
the Prison of the Senses.
This is your Purpose! This is
your reason for living! This is the Goal! This is the Great Work that you must
accomplish while in the flesh.

"Seek to uphold yourself and others. Share gladly what you acquire and give to all those in need without asking questions, for you are only giving them a gift from God, since nothing belongs to you. What you acquire is also a gift from God.

"Dying is like waking from a dream"
In the moments following death, we will immediately realize that we have been dreaming all along.
A very special dream.
A very real dream.
A dream with experiences and consequences.
So, navigate your dream well.

The last few posts have focused upon death (so-called) and fear of same. It was felt that the times that we are presently experiencing required that we take a sober and objective look at this specter that hovers over our lives although it hides in the shadows of our consciousness.
We all know that we are going
to die. That is a certainty that we shove into a box in the attic of our
consciousness and cover with a blanket. We shut the door and do not visit that
attic if we can help it.
But the shadow follows us. We
never face it, so we do not learn to understand it. As human beings, we tend to
fear that which we do not understand. Many fear death (so-called) because they
do not know what will happen after we transition. Again, that which we do not
know of, we fear.
The prior posts were published in an effort to present the truth to all who may have ears to hear. The truth
is that we have nothing to fear from death (so-called).
Death is like taking off all of our clothes, opening a door, walking through that door, and then closing the
door behind us. Anyone who walks into the room will see our discarded clothing
and will conclude that we are no longer there. But we are behind the door,
alive as ever, and unburdened by the heavy clothing that we once wore.
Life is a continuum. Nothing
ever dies. Things merely transform. For all of us, each life is a new page in a
very thick book. So, keep these things in mind for the future.
The global circumstances of the
past two years have been purposely designed and orchestrated to tap into our
fear of death and stir up uncertainty, doubt, anxiety, worry and unreasonable
dread. It is well known by those who control the activities of the world that
human-beings do not react well to fear. When humans are in fear, most will look
to others for direction and leadership. If the wrong leaders are in place,
disaster can result.
Due to our unreasonable fear of
death, the world is now following dictates that do not have our best interests
at heart. Instead of resisting, we are complying. Instead of questioning, we
are accepting. Instead of acting, we are allowing ourselves to be led.
It has been famously said that
Earth is the Planet of Choice. Everything on this planet happens due to choice.
If we are dominated by others, then it is by choice. If we are tricked and
fooled by the crafty, it is by choice. If we are coerced into doing things that
we know in our heart are not right, then we have allowed those things to
happen, again by choice.
During these critical times, we
must choose whether we are going to allow ourselves to be ruled by Fear or by
Courage. We must choose whether we will use our God-given reasoning abilities to question the false narrative that is being shoved down our throats or
if we will merely accept the lies of our "authorities", who are nothing but wolves in sheep's clothing.
What belies all of our
uncertainty is the fear of death. These last few posts have attempted to remind
you that there is nothing to fear from death. Whether by violence, by old age
or by manufactured flu. We will continue to Live, just as we always have.
Once we discard the fear of
death, those who control us will lose their control over us. This is what the
Gnosis comes to share with us. Fear is in the mind. If we focus our
consciousness on holding onto something that is designed to be temporary - such
as physical existence - we will remain in a fearful state-of-consciousness. But
if we focus our consciousness on the Immortal Spirit-spark that burns within
the center of our life-system and its Eternal presence, we will come to realize
that there is nothing to fear, that there has never been anything to fear, and
that there will never be anything to fear...for all Eternity.
Choose Courage.

You may have noticed that the most recent posts have focused upon the subject of "death" (so-called) in one way or another. I imagine that you are also wondering why?
I will try to explain in the next post.
~ g
What is it about death (so-called) that causes us to fear it so much? What is the worst that can happen?
1. Pain
2. Missing Our Loved Ones
3. Unfinished Business
4. Failure to Find the Path
Let's take a quick look at these factors.
1. Pain
Fear of the pain that we associate with death is something that we try to push to the back of our minds. But this pain is evident all around us, we see it happening everywhere to our dying brothers and sisters, so naturally, we assume that when our incarnation is winding down, pain will be our lot as well.
Generally, physical pain will accompany us as we near the end of our incarnation if it is part of our karma to experience it. For most of us, the end will arrive quietly. Our consciousness will withdraw its focus on the physical plane and relax the magnetic attraction that binds the etheric/physical particles of the body together.
If you want to know what death (so-called) is like, then simply monitor yourself as you fall asleep at night. As your eyes close and you relax, at one moment you will be physically present and in the blink of an eye you seamlessly transition into a blessed sort of unconscious state. Your consciousness withdraws from the physical plane and intensifies its focus on the astral planes of the planet, where you have experiences during the night that we call "dreams". Your perception has moved from one reality to a different reality.
There is an old expression that states: "Sleep and Death are like brothers". There is much truth to that axiom.
Finally, for those who may have to experience pain at the end, medical science has created powerful anti-pain medications that will numb the nerves and block the pain messages that the body sends to the brain. These ones will not feel much at all.
In cases of violence or accident, there are usually karmic reasons for incarnations to end in such uncomfortable ways. The reasons are revealed to us when we reach The Other Side.
Take care of the body. Purify your thoughts and emotions. Live a life of Love and Service to others. Do not become attached to the things of this world. Non-attachment will make it easier for us to let go when it comes time for us to transition from the physical plane.
2. Missing Our Loved Ones
The primary reason for this fear usually does not hit us until we are very near the end. While we are alive and healthy, we ignore our loved ones, we mistreat them, we take them for granted, etc. To avoid feelings of regret at the end, we should show Love to our friends and family every moment that we can. Never leave a friend or loved one without showing them that you love them, either by word or by deed. Treat each moment with a loved one as if it were the last time you were going to see them. This will help to prevent these fears from arising.
3. Unfinished Business
There are so many things that we are juggling on a daily basis. We toil to create favorable lives for ourselves and our loved ones. We plan for the future. When confronted with our transition from the physical plane, we fear leaving so many plans unrealized, projects unfinished, hopes and dreams unfulfilled.
It helps to get our affairs in order in the here and now, even if we are in excellent health or in the prime of life. This is the best we can do for those we leave behind. As for future plans and unfinished projects, these things should not be of serious concern to us. When we reach the Other Side, all of these things that we think are so important when our consciousness was focused on physical plane reality will be seen in their proper perspective.
Live fully in the Now. As the Christ stated "....do not worry about Tomorrow, for Tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own".
4. Failure to Find the Path
This is actually not a true Fear that occurs to us as we approach death (so-called) because most human-beings are completely unaware that there is a Path that will remove us from the Wheel of Death and Rebirth and will sever our obligation to incarnate over and over again.
This Path can only be located if we open our heart centers and allow the immortal divine Spirit-spark to reconnect with the Universal Spirit. This re-linking will inhale the Living Waters of the Universal Spirit into the life-system of the human-being, purifying and transforming the human-being from Man to Manas, the state of the Original, Divine Human-being.
But as it is said, "You can't miss what you have never had". Since we do not have knowledge of the Path, we do not regret in not having found it. When we reach the Other Side and things that were hidden to us during physica life are revealed, we will understand that we missed our True Purpose while we were on Earth and that we must return yet again, in a new body, in similar or different circumstances, and in total forgetfulness, to try to find the Path once more.
We will remain on the Wheel of Death and Rebirth until we find our True Purpose while on Earth, until we find the Path of Return and follow it to a Good End.
Thus, the fear that we are least aware of should actually be the one of greatest concern.
In conclusion, it is not Death that we fear. It is the Fear of Death that we fear.
Contemplate the first three Fears and try to see if you can find any wisdom within them.
Contemplate the fourth Fear and see if it inspires you to find the Path that leads to freedom before you put the body aside.
