The Role of the Thymus Gland - Epilogue
There are seven major chakras. Each chakra is associated with physical organs known as the ductless endocrine glands.
Crown Chakra - Pineal Gland
Brow Chakra - Pituitary Gland
Throat Chakra - Thyroid Gland
Heart Chakra - Thymus Gland
Solar Plexus Chakra - Adrenal Glands
Navel Chakra - Spleen
Root Chakra - Sex Glands
Each of the seven endocrine glands act as transformers of astral energies. They are linked to the seven major etheric chakras which are, in turn, each associated with an astral force center. Astral means 'of the stars". The human system is designed to attract, assimilate and radiate astral vibrations, electromagnetic star energy.
The Sun is a star. Its vital energies are assimilated by the spleen and distributed to the entire etheric double. Taking this several steps further, the constellations are collections of stars and they also transmit star energy to humanity. These vibrations are assimilated by the human system affecting every aspect of human life. That is the mechanism behind the workings of the Twelve Aeons, what man calls the Zodiac.
The distance between man and the constellations does not matter. The interaction is subtle, but tangible. The energy transference occurs beneath the perception of the physical human, but it is as real and effective as putting a plug in a socket.
Therefore it should not be hard to understand how the thymus gland, the physical endocrine organ linked to the Heart Chakra, is used to transmit astral energy that does not belong to the nature-of-death, but instead originates from the New Life-Field. The thymus is active in very young children because at birth, the microcosm of the human child has just returned to physical manifestation from the reflection-sphere in a somewhat purified state. The child is receptive to the Divine radiations primarily because it has not yet been contaminated (yet again) by Earth-life. A few years of living amongst mankind and the Light usually goes out, so to speak.
Thus, the thymus atrophies as man grows older because man becomes pre-occupied with and immersed in life, earth-life, which is actually a living death. The organ falls into dis-use and can no longer be accessed for its Original Purpose. Unless...
...unless the man or woman, through diligent, discerning Seeking begins to gain insight into the conditions of his existence and, through recognition of the hopeless futility of earth-life and its reflection-sphere (the so-called 'heaven-worlds'), begins to yearn for salvation from the nature-of-death. When that point is reached, the man will attract other astral energies. Not those of The Twelve, which are focused upon maintaining the nature-of-death, but that of The Thirteenth, which originate from a Kingdom not-of-this-world. Once the human makes the decision to turn away from the material life, these other-worldly astral energies will touch his divine Spirit-spark atom, which will begin to vibrate. This vibration will touch the thymus gland, stimulating it to begin secreting the special hormones it has waited so many years to deliver into the blood.
In this way, via the agency of this remarkable endocrine gland, any divine astral energies that touch the Spirit-spark atom will be transmitted via the blood, to the head and throughout the entire microcosm. It is in the head sanctuary where these vibrations will make their influence felt. The human will begin to have new thoughts, thoughts far-removed from the mundane foolishness of everyday earth-life. He will begin to form a mental conception of the New Man, of Liberation from the earthly vale of tears. For such a one, it will represent the first step taken on the Transfiguristic Path.

From my understanding the human consists of a microcosm (Containing a latent divine spark plus one's accumulated karma from past and present life's.)Plus a finite personality which is governed completely by karma (Our life). Put simply, state of consciousness is state of life because everything takes place in consciousness so a higher consciousness would be required for any change to take place. As the bills have to be paid we cannot simply turn away from the material life. Could you help me by giving some of your practical experiences on making the above the primary desire in ones life? Spiritual Schools seem very much like churches. Praise the Lord and pass the plate.
andrew,
I will address your last comment first.
Re: "Spiritual schools seem much like churches".
If you have not investigated LRC for yourself, then with the utmost respect and love for you, I must reply that you are speaking from ignorance based on generalizations that centuries of "organized" religion have justifiably caused man to rely upon.
LRC is not a "church". It is a modern-day mystery-school that is the last link in a chain of such schools that have appeared throughout mankind's history. There is no "collection plate". There are no sermons of hell-fire. It has but one purpose: to guide the True Seeker to the One Goal - Liberation.
If you allow your earthly experience with the aeonic churches to dissuade you from looking into LRC, then the aeons of this nature have succeeded in obstructing your seeking, to the detriment of your journey on The Path. i would advise that one at least take the time to investigate the matter first, before throwing out the baby with the bath-water. After conducting a personal investigation of the organization, one can make an informed decision, based upon experience rather than assumption.
I will respond to the other portions of your comment in a bit.
all love,

On making the Gnosis the primary desire in one's life...
First we must realize that after receving the touch of the Gnosis, after the awakening of our Spirit-spark atom, this Divine ember must be continually nurtured in order that it may grow into a fire.
We, our "I",our ego, cannot accomplish this task. That is the task of The Other One that is beginning to grow within us.
The best help that we can offer is to try and follow the fivefold path of the Gnosis as best we can:
insight
yearning for salvation
self-surrender
a new attitude of life
transfiguration
We must decrease, while The Other One must increase.
On a fundamental basis, it is helpful to not smoke and to not drink alcohol. One should move away from flesh-foods and towards vegetarianism. A high moral standard should be adhered to. Our thoughts should be free of criticism and anger, our hearts free of coarse desires. This is as much as we can do to assist in the process, for again, it is The Other One who shall do the work within.
We must live the Path. We should not just theorize about it, or intellectualize it. We have to surrender the self to this mighty Process of Change. If we live each moment with this new attitude of life, it will not be difficult to maintain focus.
It may sound easy, but it is not. The self is our most diffcult adversary and it will not give up its position as Master willingly. Much will be thrown our way in an attempt to divert us from our Path. But the victory can be won, if this is what the heart truly desires.
It is written, "He who conquers the self is stronger than an entire kingdom".
Remember, the "I" should not try to "do" anything. We should not interfere with our "doing". The Great Work has already commenced within you. You may not be able to sense it, but the process is well underway.
May you be led to the Good End.
