Hypnotism

[QUOTING]

Hypnotism occurs when a person of strong will puts a weaker person into a kind of trance by applying an occult method. Once the weaker person is in such a state, he will do anything the hypnotist suggests. Such a practice is black magic and very dangerous, both morally and physically. A hypnotic trance can be brought about in two ways, firstly when the hypnotist concentrates on the medulla oblongata of his subject; secondly, by means of the hypnotic stare, that is, by concentration on the eyes of the subject.

If hypnotic domination is applied long enough, the subject becomes entirely dependent on the hypnotist. The consciousness no longer has any control over the body and such a person is then lived. The hypnotist can give his orders telepathically, even at a great distance and the subject is forced to react. This kind of magic is a great sin and entails a severe karmic penalty.

Dreadful crimes such as murder, theft and sexual excesses are committed under such compulsion and when the subject awakens from his hypnotic sleep he knows nothing of what happened, as is also the case with mediums. He only experiences the physical results.

There are twelve pairs of cranial nerves and all organic and other vital bodily functions are controlled by them. Through hypnotic concentration these twenty-four nerve streams are disturbed. In the long run, the subject's consciousness can no longer control them and becomes completely dependent on the hypnotist. Just as an addict can no longer live without his narcotics, the subject without his hypnotist becomes a wreck and he may even take this tie for 'love'.

When a person is hypnotized, the head of the vital body splits into two and the two halves can be observed on either side of the material head, hanging across the shoulders or around the neck like a collar. The vital body of the hypnotist is then substituted for it. After hypnosis, recovery is only partially possible and the body is disorganized.

As the ethers around the head are mainly reflecting ethers (thought ether), it is clear that not one single experience can be engraved on the mind. In this way, the subject loses his memory and can gain no experience. Life for such a person will be useless; it is a horrible crime to cause such a condition in a human being.

For the same reason, hypnotism used for medical purposes, as is done in modern psychology, is objectionable and dangerous, both for the physician and the patient. In fact, the physician brings about a tie with his patient so that after some time, the patient becomes his doctor's double; he thinks, lives and speaks as his doctor does; he can no longer do without him and lives by his suggestions until, finally, the patient is left alone. Then he may be cured of a certain complex but incalculable damage has been done to his twenty-four nerve streams.

It is always wrong for the layman to work with occult forces he does not understand. It is even worse when a black magician hypnotizes his victim deliberately

From "Spiritualism III" - Elementary Philosophy of the Modern Rosycross - J. van Rijckenborgh

[END QUOTING]

Two things: never let anyone hypnotize you for any reason. It is not a parlor-game, nor is it an acceptable method of healing. You may as well take your head off your shoulders and pass it to the hypnotist, because your mind will no longer belong exclusively to you.

Secondly, horrendous and inexplicable crimes have taken place over the past several years across the globe. School shootings, movie theatre shootings, mall shootings and the like. Often, the perpetrators either take their own lives or are apprehended with wild-eyes staring blankly. They are placed on trial where an explanation is never offered for their irrational, murderous acts. There is always more behind these incidents than what the propagandizing mainstream media conspires to have you believe.

There are entities on this planet who have the ability to see great distances (remote viewing) and to influence the mind of targeted humans. One word, one signal, and the automaton will carry out his murderous mission as faithfully and diligently as a Navy Seal. When it's over, it ends with a blank stare or a self-inflicted coup de grace.

The events that take place on this earth are carefully staged to condition and control blind humanity. Hypnosis, mind-control and remote-viewing are just a few of the tools used to ensure that these events unfold as designed.

Impossible? Unbelievable? Paranoid nonsense? That's exactly the reaction that is desired. Your disbelief is their ally.

In any event, the main thrust of the post stands: don't play with occult forces you do not understand. And never voluntarily give over control of your mind or body. You may not get it back.

Could you you say something about dreams. When you dream are you in the astral realm? Or do they come from your subconscious mind? They seem very symbolic, for instance if you dream you are being chased by a monster, the only way to get rid of the monster is not to run faster but to open your heart and let the love flowing from the heart destroy the monster. So the dream is trying to tell dreamer about something negative in his system that needs attention.
Thank you.

When we sleep, there is a splitting of the personality that takes place. The two lower ethers (Chemical and Life-ethers) remain with the physical body enabling us to continue breathing, etc., while the two higher ethers (Light and Reflecting) are taken along with the astral body to the astral realm of this nature-order, the reflection-sphere. With the two higher ethers temporarily free of the body, we are unable to sense (Light-ether) or think (Reflecting wther). This constitutes the normal sleep-state.

Like attracts like. Whatever frequency our astral body is vibrating at when we fall asleep, that is where it will travel at night. For example, if one is angry or uneasy or fearful, one will travel to a region of the astral realm that matches those vibrations. If one thinks about this it will make perfect sense.

Once in the astral realms, certain impressions are made upon the astral body. When the astral body returns from its sojourn in the reflection-sphere to merge once again with the physical body, these impressions may be relayed to the physical brain. This is why many dreams occur just before waking.

The physical brain contains a store-house of charged impulses. These consist of memories, random or repressed thoughts, etc. This "thought-rubbish" mingles with the impressions brought back from the astral world and our dreams are the result.

One's day-life can also influence one's dreams. van Rijckenborgh wrote:

"Finally, consider this: Do not worry about dreams of a dualistic nature...a great many dreams, if not all, are due to the unloading of the brain-cells, especially those of the memory-center. For instance, if you have a strong imagination and have been thinking about banalities, letting yourself go, then the brain-cells charge themselves with many forces. During the sleep of the body the brain-cells discharge and cause dreams which to high degree are confused and fragmentary, having affinity with your day-dreams.

Another example is that, possibly, you have been very busy with your social responsibilities, so that you fall asleep dead tired. Then the brain-cells are over-charged and when they discharge at night they produce several dreams. Therefore, don't worry about it, don't pay attention to your dreams, even if they seem to be important. Just enclose them in the silence of your being and soon you will know what to think and expect of them."

If there is any symbolism contained within a dream, it will usually be so veiled and obscure as to be virtually impossible to unravel. We should not place undue emphasis upon trying to decipher our dreams. Their meaning, if there is one, may not become apparent for days, weeks, years or never.

Thank you for explaining about how dreams appear. Could you explain why the Lectorium Rosicrucianum does not do meditation? Most other spiritual groups say meditation is essential if you want to make progress.
Thank you.

The Spiritual School (Lectorium Rosicrucianum) does not endorse or make use of meditation, concentration, breathing exercises, yoga, visualization, affirmation, ascetic practices, astral travel or any of the countless popular methods of "enlightenment" endorsed by natural groups in today's spiritual supermarket. These are occult practices and pupils are discouraged from making use of them.

The general purpose of meditation is to still the mind so as to obtain a "higher state of consciousness". What is not realized is that this "higher state" is nothing but a journey into the higher regions of the natural reflection-sphere, which by its very nature is a deception. It's like walking up the stairs to the top of a five-story house. Even after you've reached the attic, you're still in the same house!! Nature-born humanity cannot escape nature-born existence via the use of nature-born methods.

The subconscious is the sum total of all the experiences, attributes, powers and abilities of all the personalities that have preceded us in our microcosm. Before we get excited about this, we should remember that we've spent hundreds, perhaps thousands of lifetimes groveling in the worst degradation one can imagine, so most of what is buried in the subconscious is not very pretty. "As it is written, no one is righteous; no, not one"

The so-called "higher self" that dualistic spiritual groups urge their followers to seek and unite with is nothing other than one's own auric being. This is an entity in which "all powers and organs of the microcosmic firmament are present". It has the form of a personality, but it is much larger than the personality we are familiar with. Despite all this, it is not divine or remotely "spiritual". It is of the earth-earthy, the lipika-being that rules the microcosm.

Man deludes himself when he utilizes occult methods in an attempt to achieve "bliss" or "nirvana" or "enlightenment". These methods may enable one to sense higher regions of the natural reflection-sphere but they will not lead one to true Liberation from this Seventh Cosmic Domain back to the Sixth, the Divine Kingdom, our Original Home.

Additionally, because of the binding that the use of such methods will effect with the reflection-sphere, practioners place themselves in danger of possession, insanity, physical illness, obsession, etc. Humans are completely unaware of the unsavory denizens that lurk in the reflection-sphere, waiting for the unwitting and the foolish to hand them the keys to their mortal soul. Breathing exercises are expecially dangerous.

For these reasons and more, the School discourages all of these practices and will gently turn away those who insist on indulging in these dualistic measures. Such people prove by their behavior that they are still attached to duality and its methods and are not yet ready to abandon the things of this world.

Thank you for your explanation about meditation. Could I ask you your personal view on death? As human beings we all know that one day we will die. The Ego does not seem like this so it comes up with all these theories about an afterlife. As well as on the physical level making such a big deal about sex so the show can be kept on the road after we depart. What I like about the Lectorium Rosicrucianum is it does not promise "bliss" or "nirvana" or "enlightenment" as you put it.

Human microcosms are stranded on the wheel of birth-and-death, here in the Physical Realm, which is the lowest of Seven such Cosmic Realms. The ultimate goal of humanity is to obtain complete Liberation from this emergency-order of existence and to return to the Divine Kingdom, the Sixth Cosmic Realm. The purpose of the Lectorium Rosicrucianum, as was the mission of the preceding brotherhood, the Cathars, is to lead those souls who are ready, out of darkness and back to the Light.

Re: Death

What man, in his ignorance, calls "death" is actually part of the ongoing, unending process that belies duality: things rise, shine and fade only to rise again and repeat the cycle. No matter how great a new car looks, someday it will be a pile of rust. No matter how great a civilization may become, at some point it will deteriorate and crumble. A newborn baby may be born without blemish, but someday its youthful lustre will fade.

As with most things, Man attempts to understand death while viewing it from the outside. As with most investigations conducted in this way (see: archaeology, medicine, etc.), complete misunderstanding is the result. What he sees is the life withdrawn from the physical body and the resultant decay. Because the vast majority of humans cannot see into the invisible worlds, they mourn the dead and fear that death is "permanent". This is not the case.

There are two spheres that comprise physical existence: the material-sphere and the reflection-sphere. What we call "life" constitutes the journey through the material-sphere, normally lasting around 72 years, on average. What we call "death" is actually the time period spent in the reflection-sphere post-mortem, which can last anywhere from a few years up to a 1,000 years depending on the karma and the development of the microcosm.

The existence of an after-life is not a theory or myth. It is a fact inherent in duality that has been suppressed or poorly-explained to the masses over the ages in order to keep humanity ignorant and in fear. In this regard, the aeons of this nature use the churches and the atheists as their tools of propaganda. The churches use death as a weapon of fear while the atheist uses death to spread hopelessness and discouragement. Those who follow the doctrines of the religions will bind themselves to those religions, in the hope that such a binding will "save" them after death. Actually, upon death they will be more tightly bound than ever during their sojourn in the reflection-sphere. The atheistic will try to "get as much as they can" out of life and will commit awful atrocities and excesses that will serve to set back their soul's development many, many lives or, in the worst cases, doom the microcosmic soul altogether.

This is why man needs to acquire insight into these matters. Humanity is in desperate need of the honest Truth, with no chaser. Once man begins to understand that the forces of the world are lying to him in order to keep him in chains, if he has any spark of Remembrance within him, he will recognize the significance of his plight and begin to long for Liberation from this nature-order.

At that point, Lectorium Rosicrucianum stands ready to assist any Prodigal who truly desires to leave this earthly vale of tears and make his or her way Home via the Path of Return.
