The Rose-Mirror Of The Mysteries

The Rose of the Heart,
the Original Atom,
is a wondrous Mystery.
It is like a mirror,
the Mirror of the Mysteries.
When the pupil resolves to walk
his Path of the Rose and the Cross,
his Path of Transfiguration,
the Rosebud will open
in the warming rays of the Gnostic Sun.
And, all at once, there is Light
within the human heart,
unveiled is the Mirror of the Mysteries,
the Gnostic Light projects Itself into it.

And behold, that which the Gnosis
unveils in the Rose-mirror,
the Rose then reflects
into the microcosmic magnetic field:
the image of his own Immortal Being,
in Whom he must merge,
to Whom he must surrender completely.

Initially, the image is a silent form,
like a sculptured Idea,
but when the pupil truly walks
in his Path of the Cross,
the projection begins to live,
the Idea  gains more soul, more vitality,
the Idea turns into a Reality,
the Plan is being fulfilled,
till, ultimately, Unity can be celebrated.

The old being, the being marked for death,
is taken up into the approaching New Man.
In that same instant the life of death changes
into the glorious New Life in the Other One.

Could you say something about the seven brain cavities? In the LR temples they have a seven-branched candelabrum which before a service is lite in certain way. Does this have anything to do with the seven chakra's or are their seven levels of consciousness?

The seven candles represent the seven petals of the Rose, the Spirit-Spark Atom. They also represent the seven-branched candelabrum of the head sanctuary. The candles are lit as a symbolic reminder of these things.

The seven brain cavities are where the astral consciousness fire resides. For most, this consciousness fire is of the nature-of-death. For the New Man, the task is to replace this dialectical consciousness fire with the Divine.

The heart also has seven cavities.
