The Gnosis can not be experienced in a human nature form. Because one way or another you will always need some kind of earthly nature to live. To experience the Gnosis is to experience transformation. At least that's how I see it.

Actually, one can be touched by the Gnosis while in the physical. As the Rose of the Heart blooms, opening up to more and more Gnostic radiations, an amazing transmutation begins to take place. The Gnostic radiations become engaged in building a New Soul, one that can serve as a true temple for the Divine Spirit.
Yes, those who walk the Path will require the use of the nature-born body until the time of transition. We live in a physical world and must navigate it with a physical body. However, the physical body should only be used to the biological minimum necessary to sustain it. Take care of the body, keep it clean, but do not glorify it or focus upon it. Those who have found the Gnosis will still need the use of their physical body to serve humanity, and to spread the word to those physical human-beings who have ears to hear.
At the same time that the physical body is being maintained in this manner, a New Soul and a new etheric body are being built within the microcosm of the candidate. This new construction is nourished not from the elements of the Earth, but by the "manna" of the Gnosis. Those who are fortunate enough to undergo this process are in effect "living two lives". There are now two entities living in the microcosm. One of them, the old nature-born entity, is decreasing in power and influence, while the Other One simultaneously increases by the same measure. This is the Divine Alchemy.
So yes, it is possible to experience the Gnosis while in human form. That is the miracle that is waiting to happen for all spirit-spark entities in physical incarnation at this time who find the Path and make the choice to walk it with insight, sincerity, humility and in self-surrender.

My thoughts was that the Gnosis is reached by transformation. Now I guess I'm to understand Gnosis to be the knowledge of the divine spirit, which makes since for us to receive while in natural form. Thanks for that clarity Bro G, I enjoy reading your posts and the spiritual direction it leads me.
~g - i must comment on the living two lives...since christos was (finally) accepted, stripped down to its energetic seed (last fall), its as if i am a stranger in my own body...it is surreal and at times unnerving because when one lives for 33+ years knowing a certain signature inside, then after much inner work is accomplished and it begins to fruit, but its within the same body that nurtured it - it's like a cordyceps mushroom is growing in here!
one thing i noticed is i do not need as many kilocalories anymore to "feed the body"...and the more and more i interact with others, its like why doesnt everyone turn within and feed themselves also? i am tired of the lies and feeding on each other, yet i accept and see it is quite necessary for many here with me now...
i hold fast to the feeling i received when i made the inner connections...its almost as if the debris floating in the energy/body has been fused with the background into a new shimmering "form"...words are rather limiting right now...can we get on with the telepathy already :)~

The sense of "living two lives" will become more acute as time goes on. At times, conflict will rage. The "I" will continue to work to get its way. The "I" will continue to want to be angry, greedy, lustful, envious, jealous, lazy, devious, malicious, vengeful, selfish and self-focused. The "I" will continually want to offer these as reactions to the stimuli of the natural world, for that is what it has always done. Self-maintenance is the one and only goal of our "I".
But the Other One that is growing in stature within us will want the exact opposite. It will look for Love in every situation and offer Love in every situation.
If the connection to the Gnosis is strong enough, the "I" will cheerfully follow the impressions passed on by the Gnosis. In this way, that which is Divine will work through that which is Becoming. The candidate then becomes a conduit for the Divine Light. Eternity enters Time.
As you wisely recognize, we cannot shake our sleeping brother and sisters awake...all must awaken at their own speed, of their own free choice. We who are on the Path can assist primarily by silently and steadily radiating the Light that we accumulate within our microcosm as a result of the Transmutation process.
A decrease in appetite is said to be normal for those candidates who are truly on the Path. Less sleep will be required as well. Some long-term ailments may lessen or even disappear altogether. The nature-born physical and etheric bodies will benefit from the Transition that is taking place, due to the construction of the New Soul. We should simply accept these things as "part of the program" and utilize whatever physical re-vitalizations experienced as opportunities to offer our healthy physical bodies in loving Service to our fallen brothers and sisters. As previously mentioned above, the best way to do that is to endeavor to grow daily in the Gnosis, so that we can stand as radiating centers of Divine Light, sharing Gnosis' Grace with all those we happen to come in contact with.
Vow to grow daily in Love, Insight and Gnosis.
