Someone Famous Died Today

It happens every day, everywhere in the world. Someone famous, wealthy, powerful or notable dies. Obituaries, biographies and testimonials pour forth. The deceased is remembered in the most favorable light, if at all possible.

Heads of state, popular entertainers, sports figures, politicians, scientists, religious and cultural leaders, etc. Every day, human beings who have accomplished "great" things by human standards pass on from this world.

Tragic? Depends on your definition of tragedy. Is it tragic to earn earthly fame and accolades, only to leave it all behind? Perhaps. Is it tragic to spend one's life chasing the earthly rabbits of wealth, fame, power and love, only to have it all crumble to dust in the end? Perhaps.

The ultimate tragedy is for anyone, great or small, to die without having obtained the One Thing Needful - Gnosis.

Thousands of people will die today. Tragically, they will die in Ignorance, doomed to yet another incarnation in the earthly vale of tears.

Do not allow this to become your fate, as well. Grasp this opportunity to break the cycle of ignorance so that when you transition, you will not return to the sham-heaven of the reflection-sphere, but will journey instead to the Realm of Light, the True Reality, where a place has been prepared for you.
