1 Where are you hurrying, O men, you whose minds are clouded because you are drunk with the word that lacks all Gnosis, the word of Absolute Ignorance that does not agree with you and that you will vomit in the end?

2 Stop and become sober: see again with the eyes of your heart! And if not all of you can do so, let those at least who can. The malignity of Ignorance floods over the whole earth, ruins the Soul which is penned up in the body and prevents it from reaching the Harbors of Salvation.

5 But listen well: His Voice cannot be heard and His Name cannot be pronounced, nor can material eyes view Him. Only the Spirit-Soul is capable of doing so.

6 That is why you should first tear up the garment you are wearing: the fabric of Ignorance, the basis of Malignity, the fetter of Corruption, the lightless Prison, the Living Death, the Corpse with sense organs, the Tomb you are carrying about with you, the Robber who is lodged within you who shows his hatred by what he loves and his envy by what he hates.

7 Such is the hostile garment with which you have enveloped yourself, the garment which, by preventing you from breathing, drags you down to itself, so that you will not regain your sight, whereby you might behold the beauty of Truth and of the Good enclosed in it, and come to hate your garment's malignity and see through its tricks and snares.

8 For it makes your sense organs insensitive by closing them off with an abundance of matter and filling them with sinful pleasures, so that you will not hear what it is so necessary for you to Hear and will not see what you so much need to See.

Karma And The Forgiveness Of Sins

That is why the Gnosis, the love of God, speeds to our rescue. Is it not delightful to know that we will be able to shake off our entire karmic burden, if we truly venture on the Gnostic Path?

All Karma must be balanced on the plane in which it was accumulated. It is for this reason that we, as microcosms, continue to return to Earth-life, over and over. Entry into Higher Realms is not possible until the karma of the microcosm has been balanced completely.

The foregoing post contains an important revelation. In light of the knowledge that the candidate's Karma must be completely nullified before entry to the Divine Kingdom can be granted, the question is often asked: "How are we to pay off karmic debts millions of years old? How are we to even know what debts we owe?" Indeed, without answers to these questions, the prospect of returning to the Divine Realm appears to be a hopeless one.

Part of the transfiguristic process involves the eradication of one's entire karma. If one learns the requirements of The Path of Return and then proceeds to walk the Path in humility, sincerity and one-pointedness of purpose, a miraculous event will take place. By way of a process, the accumulated karma of the candidate will be expunged, burned away. The candidate will be freed from his karmic burden. but with the critical understanding that he must "Go, And Sin No More".

This is what true "Grace" is all about. This is the true meaning behind the doctrine of  "The Forgiveness Of Sins". It is the Christ-Spirit that can and will effect this forgiveness. The four Gospels relay this important information to mankind under the guise of the biography of the Christ. Be reminded that the gospels are esoteric guides on how to follow the transfiguristic Path of Return, written in an allegorical fashion that only those with "ears to hear" may understand.

So take up your cross, your Rosy Cross, and be reminded that the power of the Gnosis will come to meet all those who walk toward It. All pain will be relieved, all fears dissolved, all karma erased, as long as the candidate does his or her part and resolves with fervent desire to walk in the Light of the Gnosis until he or she reaches the Good End.

TELEVISION: A Danger For The Individual III

The effect of the program on man is more or less similar to the one experienced at the cinema. The only difference is that at the cinema one has to make an effort to select a program and one has to pay. The cinema program is experienced in a small group and at the same time one has an "outing". With television, however, everything is delivered at one's home. Everything has been paid for and the set stands as a status symbol in our room, at our disposal day in and day out. We make ourselves comfortable: TV chair, TV tables, foot-stool, TV coffee pot and TV snacks, close at hand. We can then further lapse into complete inactivity, relax and at the same time the program, whatever it may be, is presented to us.

This program can only be geared to satisfy the taste of the masses, gauged and calculated  by opinion polls produced by very efficient institutes. So certainly no strenuous programs, but pure recreation with a touch of news, a touch of laughter and a touch of sex. Or a lot of sex and a lot of tension, or sport, a touch of war and a touch of murder. Wonderful! But these programs are never directed towards the great virtues of man, because that is not what is wanted; "there is no profit in it".

Thus, evening after evening the entire gullible public is attuned to the average level of the masses (therefore the lowest human level). Children, the growing youth and young people are thus confronted with the reality or our society. Children have to digest too many tensions of things they only half-understand, while the more mature youth learn to know the adults -- by whom in fact they should be led and from whom they could learn so much -- in all their limitations, narrow-mindedness and wickedness.

Therefore, young people often do not wish to have anything more to do with all those moralizing sermons from their parents; they know better! These youngsters are left behind without illusions. Is it then surprising that they become rebellious against this old herd? What happens to the grown-ups? They spend their time, evening after evening, wasting their time looking at programs which are fundamentally the same. When the television is on it is out of the question nowadays to spend time reading a good book or to have a good conversation; there seems to be no time for painting, drawing, embroidery or mending. The television-viewing public is characterized by blunted feelings. Fortunately there are still a number of people who do not want to walk on this treadmill. They still wish to have time for real relaxation, they do not want to come under the spell of a picture tube.

Now we come to the second point: the elimination of the will.  How many people say "We only look at the news bulletin, the weather forecast and then we always switch off". Do not believe them so readily, for only too often the television is on for the whole evening. If you come in suddenly, they say: "Yes, it is not so interesting now but a moment ago we laughed a lot! Come on, just sit down, for Mr. X will come on in a moment". They rarely stand up to greet you and in the twilight you must find a seat. Then you must keep very quiet. To switch off the television is out of the question. Politeness is often lacking. This viewing, evening after evening, the ridiculous sight that meets you when you go out for an evening walk and can follow the same program from one house to the next -- this behavior in the whole civilized world -- is the picture of an enslaved mankind. Looking at the magic box every evening, whatever is offered!

Undoubtedly, we have here a willing docility from whatever motive; out of whatever habit this occurs, it is thoughtlessly indulged. Just as at half past nine you feel the desire to drink a cup of coffee, or at fixed times to smoke a cigarette, so one turns on the television in the evening. Let's just have a look. Then before you know it, you are up until all hours.

Our will is already closely attuned to television. It appears that what is offered has us in its spell to such an extent, that the visual impressions entirely occupy the consciousness and accordingly, the will is paralyzed. This also takes place because the other sense organs begin to malfunction. That is why the volume of the sound must be turned up so high and be so intense that no other sound is audible to the consciousness. It is a well-known fact that the neighbors must always be able to enjoy the sound of the television.

If one were to say that what is alleged above is only temporary, because in the long run television viewing will surely diminish, the children will be better under control again and half-truths are trotted out to gloss over one's own weakness, then we must point to the facet of television that is normally never broached, but which must be seen as a most dangerous aspect. We call this facet radiation. Here we mean all the vibration frequencies (among other things light and sound) which are transmitted by the television set. This radiation can penetrate us unimpeded, for the will is eliminated and the consciousness is entirely attuned to the program. So one sees whole families sitting in front of the television, Mum, Dad and the children on the floor right up in front and sometimes even the baby on the lap for several hours a day!

This pamphlet has a copyright date 1979.  Are things any different today? If anything, matters are far worse now by a huge factor. A "touch of murder"? How about hours and hours of such bloody fare?

There's nothing new under the sun. What has been before, shall be again.

If we are honest with ourselves, we will admit that we've allowed television to take up too big a spot in our lives. What's more, we can now add computers, smartphones, ear-buds and giant earphones that rattle the precious head sanctuary with primal noise at close range.

If we've learned anything from the last few posts, we might want to reconsider the positions that television and gadgetry as a whole have taken in our lives. We might also want to consider shutting off or at least drastically reducing our exposure to the magic box. Remember, the entities that rule this planet do not have your best interests at heart. They are quite adept at hiding deadly poison in a box of chocolates. Quite adept indeed.

When the element Thallium (close to Cerium) can disturb the prenatal growing process in a small energy situation, then one must take special care for the much higher radiation of the Cerium from the television tube! This far-from-innocent radiation penetrates into the brain principally via our eyes in the way explained above. Firstly the retina is irradiated and thereafter the brain-lobes for optic perception (thalama optici). Moreover there are extremely sensitive organs between the eye-nerves and the brain-lobes such as the pituitary gland (hypophysis) and the pineal gland (pinealis). It is clear that these very important organs are placed under a radiation influence for which they were not destined!

Meanwhile science has discovered that all changes in the development of life in plants, animals and  men are caused by radiations in one form or another. Hereditary qualities in the propagation cells are influenced by radiation, an activity which is called "mutation". So it is the radiation which causes mutations and mutations determine modification of the individual. The more individuals change, the more the characteristics of the species will modify. This is an effect which extends itself over several generations.

The radiation of the elements mentioned, hardly appear in normal sunlight; moreover, our atmosphere fully protects us from them. So our normal bodily constitution is totally unprepared to resist such radiations: the body cannot normally absorb them. However, when our body is continually exposed to such a strange radiation (just think of the cobalt-irradiation against cancer) the result always produces heating, then injury and finally burning! The parts of the brain which are exposed to their radiation will thus at first suffer a burning feeling, will later become hurt and ultimately burn out; thus they will slowly become inactive and degenerate!

The body will always try to rectify any damage done, but that takes some time. When the same injury occurs repeatedly and often without sufficient time for recovery, then it will be clear  that such an abnormal situation becomes a permanent one. Before it gets to this stage, television radiation, for instance, will cause a burning feeling in the eyes, the head, or even in the back and the chest, which disappears when the body has time to re-adjust. However, if one continues this radiation process without long interruptions, then the burning feeling or other complaints will also stop but recovery is then no longer possible. The nerve-ends in the thalama optici  are then cauterized  and one does not feel it any longer, because the nervous system no longer reacts to this stimuli.

The thalama optici have then become in a certain sense permanently inactive and often the eyesight will diminish and the light sensitiveness deteriorates. Most people with whom one talks about this say: "Yes at first it bothered me, I had a slight headache and a burning feeling in my eyes, but now it has gone. If you go on looking, then you get used to it". Yes, one gets used to it, but one is also a little further degenerated without realizing it.

The kinds of radiations emanating from the apparatus are soundwaves, light waves and ether waves. The sound waves are considered especially harmful for man and especially for children. Moreover, attention is drawn to the great instability which emanates from the trembling and flickering picture. Owing to all sorts of atmospheric and earthly disturbances the picture is not still and moreover, is subject to all kinds of clarity fluctuations. By absorbing this picture for some time very tensely and attentively, a great pressure occurs on the nervous system which afterwards tries to discharge itself. For children, this causes insomnia or very restless nights.

A tone of nearly 20,000 cycles per second which is necessary to reproduce the lines of the electron radiation also emanates from the set and this sound is just audible by some people and especially by children. This sound, which is very high and just to be heard or in fact is not "heard", is felt as a pressure in the head. If one is sensitive to it, it is a very unpleasant sensation which also causes a burdening which must be worked off afterwards. By gazing for hours at the brightly illuminated screen, the eyes are taxed to a large extent which leads, just as in all long continued over-burdening, to unpleasant consequences manifesting themselves as disease of the affected parts of the body.

However unpleasant these phenomena may be, there is still another danger which is not acknowledged as such that must be pointed out as most serious. We refer to the nature and the type of radiation which originates from the picture screen itself. The screen is coated with a certain substance which is applied to convert the electron energy into light. Moreover, it must be able to react to the intensity of the radiation , thereby emitting either more or less light. In addition to this quality, the substance must also glow for a short time in order to allow the pictures to merge. Furthermore, the substance used must also produce a brilliant effect because a gray picture is lifeless.

In order to produce all these results, a substance has been produced out of a number of basic elements with special additions. So, for instance, zinc cadmium sulfite or zinc beryllium silicate are used as a base to which some very special elements are added. Mostly, the structure will be a trade secret, but for the brilliant radiation effect (the color) one principally uses Cerium, Europium and Terbium.

The normal black-and-white sets have principally an addition of Cerium, whereas in color television, the three substances mentioned play an important role. These elements are very rare and belong to the first series of the so-called "rare-earth" elements. The second range of rare-earth elements, among others, is composed of Uranium, Neptunium Plutonium, elements which are dangerous even under normal circumstances.

The fact that all these substances from the first range belong to the rare-earth elements points to the fact that these elements are only found in small concentrations in the earth's crust. Man does not apply these substances in their natural condition, no, he concentrates and purifies them and uses them under a high temperature and pressure in order to obtain a desired result. Such is also the case of the television tube. Here, for instance, Cerium is used to generate light. The Cerium atoms are bombarded with electrons of a high energy and under their influences, the Cerium atoms emit light. It will be clear to the reader that the light emitted by Cerium is completely in accordance with the nature of the Cerium atom. It is, and cannot be, anything else but Cerium light. It usually escapes one's attention that in this way other radiations than only the visible light are liberated. That is why we would prefer to speak of Cerium radiation. Every day the television public is for a certain time submitted to this Cerium radiation and in color televisions we can add the Europium and Terbium radiation. This radiation, however, is of a much higher potency than is normal in the realm of nature, firstly because of the much greater concentration and secondly because of the much higher energy level on which electrons of the elements were found.

The Silence

When we mention Silence, we are not referring to the silence that accompanies the stereotypical eyes-closed, legs-crossed yogic or meditative pose. The average occultist meditates with the aim of connecting with his or her terrestrial higher self or reflection-sphere entities. These are earthbound aims that are inextricably linked with the physical realm. Such meditations merely chain one that much more tightly to the Wheel of Death and Rebirth.

The Silence that the transfigurist is attempting to achieve is one in which not only the senses are quieted, but one in which the Divine Spark - the smallest part of God that lives within the microcosm - is able to make contact with the subtle vibrations emanating from its home realm, the Sixth Cosmic Domain.

This communication takes place within the Silence that occurs when the physical senses are stilled.

The vibrations of the Divine Kingdom (the 6th Cosmic Domain) are of a frequency that is too high for the physical senses of the 7th Cosmic Domain to detect. We, as physical human-beings, do not possess the sense organs necessary to perceive these very high vibrations. Only the Divine Spirit-spark Atom within us can "hear" what is being transmitted from this sublime realm. This because the Divine Spark is of the same frequency and composed of the same atomic material(s) as the Divine Kingdom. There is a natural affinity. Like Attracts Like is the law, so it is easy to see that a connection between ourselves and the Sixth Cosmic Domain is eminently possible.

Of course, living in the cacophony of today's world, it is very difficult to turn off the noise, to find a quiet place to sink into the Silence that leads to the Divine connection. If a newborn baby cries at a rock concert, will anyone hear the child? Of course not. All instruments must be turned off, all voices must be stilled and all movement must cease in order to enable us to hear the still, small voice of the crying newborn. It is no different with The Silence. All the "extra" stuff that we engage in during a typical day should be shut off, shut down, shut out. Unnecessary speech, wasted actions, counter-productive or impure thoughts, emotional mood swings...all these distractions must be eliminated in order for us to approach The Silence.

The hermits of old had it right. They left what was called "civilization" and journeyed to a place where Silence was a natural state of affairs, or at the very least, easily attainable. Throughout history they are depicted as disheveled and bedraggled fools, but you can trust and believe that these ones more than likely possessed the Gnostic Key.

LRC, the School of the Golden Rosycross, is intimately aware of the power of The Silence and incorporates silent periods throughout the day at their periodic weekend conferences. Even the vegetarian meals are enjoyed in silence. It is truly a blessing to be able to unplug from the delusion that mankind considers "reality" and sink into a Silent connection with the True Reality, even if only for 24 hours.

Find a quiet place in your home or apartment. Visit that place as often as possible each day. There is no need to think, chant or speak. It is your Silent intent that matters here. Set your intent upon linking the Divine part of you within, with the Divine Kingdom that surrounds you. The connection will be instantaneous.

You can listen for responses, but you will hear nothing. Again, one cannot "hear" this communication with one's physical senses. If, during your quiet periods, you hear or see anything with your physical ears and eyes, know that you are in touch with the un-divine reflection-sphere, the other half of the material world. You can be certain that you have not made contact with the Voice of the Silence.

So how will one know that this communion has taken place? Do not search for proof, just know that contact has been made. Ultimately, you yourself will constitute living proof by way of the change that will come over you as time goes by (read "The Silent Companion"). You will begin to crave Silence; you will look to shun and avoid the trappings of "civilization" whenever you can; you will begin to look forward to those periods of time when you can sit Silently and converse with the God Within.

Two Babies Talkin'

In a mother’s womb, two babies were talking.  The first baby asked the other:

“Do you believe in life after delivery?”

The second baby replied, “Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery.  Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.”

“Nonsense,” said the first. “There is no life after delivery.  What would that life be?”

The second baby answered, “I don’t know, but there will be more light than here.  Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths.”

The doubting baby laughed. “This is absurd!  Walking is impossible.  And eat with our mouths? Ridiculous.  The umbilical cord supplies nutrition.  Life after delivery is to be excluded.  The umbilical cord is too short.”

The second baby held his ground. “I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here.”

The first baby replied, “No one has ever come back from there.  Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery it is nothing but darkness and anxiety and it takes us nowhere.”

“Well, I don’t know,” said the twin, “but certainly we will see Mother and she will take care of us.”

“Mother?” The first baby guffawed. “You believe in Mother?  Where is she now?” 

The second baby calmly and patiently tried to explain. “She is all around us.  It is in her that we live. Without her there would not be this world.”

“Ha. I don’t see her, so it’s only logical that she doesn’t exist.” 

To which the other replied, “Sometimes when you’re in Silence you can hear her, you can perceive her.  I believe there is a reality after delivery and we are here to prepare ourselves for that reality when it comes….”

Choice And The Harvest Of Souls

There is a choice to be made very shortly, and it would be preferable if all of the people of this planet understand the choice that is to be made. It will be difficult for many of the people of this planet to understand what this choice is, because it is a choice that they have not considered. They have been much too involved in their daily activities and their confusion and their desires of a very trivial nature to be concerned with an understanding of the choice that they are very shortly to make. Whether they wish to or not, whether they understand it or not, regardless of any influence, each and every one of the people who dwell upon planet Earth will shortly make a choice. There will be no middle area. There will be those who choose to follow the path of Love and Light and those who choose otherwise.

This choice will not be made by saying, “I choose the path of Love and Light,” or “l do not choose it.” The verbal choice will mean nothing. This choice will be measured by the individual’s demonstration of his choice. This demonstration will be very easy for us ... to interpret. This choice is measured by what we term the vibratory rate of the individual. It is necessary, if an individual is to join those who make the choice of Love and Understanding, for his rate of vibration to be above a certain minimal level. There are many now that are close to this minimum level, but due to continuing conditions of erroneous thought that prevail upon your surface, they are either fluctuating around this point or are even in some cases drifting away from the path of Love and Understanding. There are many whose vibratory rate at this time is sufficiently high for them to travel with no difficulty into the density of vibration that this planet is shortly to experience.

There is going to be a Harvest, as you might call it, a Harvest of Souls that will shortly occur upon your planet. We are attempting to extract the greatest possible harvest from this planet. This is our mission, for we are the Harvesters.

In order to be most efficient, we are attempting to create first a state of seeking among the people of this planet who desire to seek. This would be those who are close to the acceptable level of vibration. Those above this level are of course not of as great an interest to us since they have, you might say, already "made the grade". Those far below this level, unfortunately, cannot be helped by us at this time. We are attempting at this time to increase by a relatively small percentage the number who will be harvested into the path of Love and Understanding.

Even a small percentage of those who dwell upon your planet is a vast number, and this is our mission, to act through groups such as this one in order to disseminate information in such a fashion that it may be accepted or rejected, that it may be in a state lacking what the people of your planet choose to call "proof".

We offer them no concrete proof, as they have a way of expressing it. We offer them Truth. This is an important function of our mission—to offer Truth without proof. In this way, the motivation will, in each and every case, come from within the individual. In this way, the individual vibratory rate will be increased. An offering of proof or an impressing of this Truth upon an individual in such a way that he would be forced to accept it would have no usable effect upon his vibratory rate.

This, then, my friends, is the mystery of our way of approaching your peoples.

One major cycle is approximately 25,000 of your years*. There are three cycles of this nature during which those who have progressed may be harvested at the end of the three major cycles. That is, approximately between 75,000 and 76,000 of your years. All are harvested regardless of their progress, for during that time the planet itself has moved through the useful part of that dimension, and begins to cease being useful for the lower levels of vibration within that density.

Awaken Within The Dream

Man is asleep within a dream and cannot wake up. The dream is so real, so alluring, so captivating, that man does not realize that he is asleep. He dreams on, trapped in a seemingly endless nightmare. Instead of trying to wake up, he fights within the dream to overcome the evil therein.

Everyone has had a dream that seemed to be "real". Perhaps within the dream you were chased by a monster, or shot at, or fell off a high place. Just before you were to meet your end, you said to yourself: "Please be a dream, please be a dream". With those words, you willed yourself to awaken. Eyes wide open, you orientated yourself to your surroundings and breathed a sigh of relief. You are awake! The dream has passed. You give silent thanks.

Cruelly, man does not realize that each morning he awakens from sleep into a far more insidious and long-running dream. It is the dream of Separateness, the illusion that one is disconnected and different from the person next to him. It is a dream where one believes that God is "up there" while we are "down here", separate and apart from God's Love. In frustration and agony, man believes himself to be abandoned. Like a blind man in a dark room, he clumsily fights to modify his tragic "reality" into something more palatable. Unable to understand that Heaven lies within, he struggles to create a physical heaven on earth and instead creates a living hell. Man lives in a mirage, mistaking sand for water.

Those who come to awaken Sleeping Mankind are brutally punished for their efforts. For man, in his blind ignorance, lashes out to destroy those who are sent to save him. Man is not evil, he is insane. Even so, a Helping Hand will always be extended to offer a way out and a remedy for his psychosis.

There are those who are ready to awaken from this dream, this endless daylight nightmare. These are the ones whom the Sent Ones endeavor to reach. These dreamers will grasp the Rope that is being let down into The Pit. They will hold on with all the strength they can muster, and not let go. Slowly, with sure hands pulling at the other end of the Rope, the dreamers will be lifted from the depths of despair and into the bright new morning of the Original Divine Reality. For these ones, the long nightmare will finally end.

One With The Father

Again the child asked, "What is there in ice?"

The mother answered: "There is water in the ice."

The child desired to find the water in the ice, and so he procured a hammer, pounded the piece of ice into little bits and the warm air soon changed all the ice to water. The child was grievously disappointed, for the ice that the child supposed contained water had disappeared.

And the child said, "Where is the ice that contained the water?"

And so it came to pass that the mother was compelled, by the child's persistent questions, to say, "Ice is all water; there is no such thing as ice; that which we call ice is crystallized or frozen water."

The child understood.

A student brought to his teacher some water and asked, "What is water? What does it contain?"

The teacher answered, "Water contains oxygen and hydrogen," and then explained how the two gases might be separated and set free by heat.

The student boiled the water until all of the molecules of oxygen and hydrogen had been set free, but he was surprised to find that all of the water had disappeared.

Then the student asked the teacher, "Where is the water that held the gases that have escaped?"

Then was the teacher compelled by the student's persistent questions to answer, "Water itself is the product of oxygen and hydrogen. Water does not contain anything other than these gases. In reality, there is no such substance or fluid as water; that which we name water is a rate of motion set in operation by the union of two parts of hydrogen with one part of oxygen and, of course, the phenomenon disappears when the union of the gases is broken.'

The student understood.

A devout scientist presented himself before God and said, "Lord, what are these gases that men call oxygen and hydrogen?"

The good Lord answered and said, "They are molecules in the blood and body of the universe."

Then spoke the scientist, "Lord, wilt thou tell me of the kind of molecules that compose Thy blood and body?"

God replied, "These same molecules, gases or principles, compose My blood and body; for I and the Universe are one and the same."

Once again the scientist said, "My Lord, may I ask, then, what is Spirit and what is Matter?"

And thus answered God:

"As ice and water are one, and the gases and water are one, so are Spirit and Matter one. The different phases and manifestations recognized by man in the molecules of My body -- that is, the Universe -- are caused by the Word; thus, they are My thoughts clothed with form."

Now the scientist felt bold, being redeemed from fear, and asked "Is my blood, then, identical with Thy blood in composition and Divine Essence?"

And God said, "Yea, thou art one with the Father."

The scientist now understood and said:

"Now mine eyes are opened and I perceive that, when I eat I partake of Thy body; when I drink, I drink of Thy blood; and when I breathe, I breathe Thy Spirit."

So-called matter is Pure Intelligence and nothing else -- because there is not anything else.

These Are The Days Of Salvation

Very soon your life here will end; consider, then, what may be in store for you elsewhere. Today we live; tomorrow we die and are quickly forgotten. Oh, the dullness and hardness of a heart which looks only to the present instead of preparing for that which is to come!

Therefore, in every deed and every thought, act as though you were to die this very day. If you had a good conscience you would not fear death very much. It is better to avoid sin than to fear death. If you are not prepared today, how will you be prepared tomorrow? Tomorrow is an uncertain day; how do you know you will have a tomorrow?

What good is it to live a long life when we amend that life so little? Indeed, a long life does not always benefit us, but on the contrary, frequently adds to our guilt. Would that in this world we had lived well throughout one single day. Many count up the years they have spent in religion but find their lives made little holier.

If it is so terrifying to die, it is nevertheless possible that to live longer is more dangerous. Blessed is he who keeps the moment of death ever before his eyes and prepares for it every day. If you have ever seen a man die, remember that you, too, must go the same way. In the morning consider that you may not live till evening, and when evening comes do not dare to promise yourself the dawn. Be always ready, therefore, and so live that death will never take you unprepared. Many die suddenly and unexpectedly, for in the unexpected hour the Son of God will come. When that last moment arrives you will begin to have a quite different opinion of the life that is now entirely past and you will regret very much that you were so careless and remiss.

How happy and prudent is he who tries now in life to be what he wants to be found in death. Perfect contempt of the world, a lively desire to advance in virtue, a love for discipline, the works of penance, readiness to obey, self-denial, and the endurance of every hardship for the love of Christ, these will give a man great expectations of a happy death.

You can do many good works when in good health; what can you do when you are ill? Few are made better by sickness. Likewise they who undertake many pilgrimages seldom become holy.

Do not put your trust in friends and relatives, and do not put off the care of your Soul till later, for men will forget you more quickly than you think. It is better to provide now, in time, and send some good account ahead of you than to rely on the help of others. If you do not care for your own welfare now, who will care when you are gone?

The present is very precious; these are the days of salvation; now is the acceptable time. How sad that you do not spend the time in which you might purchase Everlasting Life in a better way. The time will come when you will want just one day, just one hour in which to make amends, and do you know whether you will obtain it?

See, then, dearly beloved, the great danger from which you can free yourself and the great fear from which you can be saved, if only you will always be wary and mindful of death. Try to live now in such a manner that at the moment of death you may be glad rather than fearful. Learn to die to the world now, that then you may begin to live with Christ. Learn to spurn all things now, that then you may freely go to Him. Chastise your body in penance now, that then you may have the confidence born of certainty.

Ah, foolish man, why do you plan to live long when you are not sure of living even a day? How many have been deceived and suddenly snatched away! How often have you heard of persons being killed by drownings, by fatal falls from high places, of persons dying at meals, at play, in fires, by the sword, in pestilence, or at the hands of robbers! Death is the end of everyone and the life of man quickly passes away like a shadow.

Who will remember you when you are dead? Who will pray for you? Do now, beloved, what you can, because you do not know when you will die, nor what your fate will be after death. Gather for yourself the riches of immortality while you have time. Think of nothing but your salvation. Care only for the things of God. Make friends for yourself now by honoring the saints of God, by imitating their actions, so that when you depart this life they may receive you into everlasting dwellings. Keep yourself as a stranger here on earth, a pilgrim whom its affairs do not concern at all.

Keep your heart free and raise it up to God, for you have not here a lasting home. To Him direct your daily prayers, your sighs and tears, that your Soul may merit after death to pass in happiness to the Lord.

Life is a continuum. We repeatedly travel in and out of incarnation. It is only when we finally find life's True Purpose and begin to seek an escape from the endless Wheel of Death and Rebirth that the sojourn on the physical plane starts to come to an end.

Although we are given only a few short decades in each life to locate The Path of Return, that is enough time for us to do just that, if the personality has reached a state of remembrance and is ready to act.

Most nature-born religious systems teach that you live a "good" life while incarnate and then reap some sort of reward in the after-life, in the reflection-sphere. The Universal Doctrine teaches that man carries his Eternal Reward within his microcosm (the Divine Spark). He has but to cease looking outwards for his salvation and begin instead to look within.

Do not waste the time you have been given. Do not wait until recognition dawns just before your final breath in this world. Make the decision now to dedicate the remainder of this life to the pursuit of the one goal of humanity: Liberation from matter.

Even if one takes but the first step on this Path (awakening the Spark), that one can be counted among the blessed. For such a one who remains steadfast in the Journey, victory is assured. The post-physical home will not be the mundane reflection-sphere, but Shamballa. That one will go "no more out". Next stop: Immortality.

The Imperishable Seed Within - Conclusion (Re-Post)

Who and what is the New Man who arises from the Imperishable Seed? Who and what is the New Man, who is beckoning and calling you from the frontier you have reached? He is the Soul-man, who belongs to Eternity, he is the one whose Soul has been reborn. 

The dualistic human being who walks the path of the endura is the last entity in that microcosm to fall prey to the Realm of Death. In the Gospels, he is called John. The Soul-man is the First Man, the Jesus-man, who belongs to the Realm of Eternity.

The dualistic person who is willing to die the death of self-sacrifice for the Imperishable Seed within him, the person who is truly willing to be a Rosicrucian, passes through the gates of the voluntary death, via an alchemical transformation, into Eternity.  You will realize that there is much to be said on this subject, and that the candidate must know and experience a great deal before he can walk this sanctifying path of dying in Jesus the Lord. He must first walk The Way of the Cross with Roses, that magnificent path of sorrows. Yet, brothers and sisters, do not stop trying, do not lose heart; never stop trying. Otherwise your mistakes will be innumerable and you will never know whether you are strong enough. And anyone who does not know, and is therefore unable to dedicate himself to the laws of The Path, will be repeatedly misled by countless false lights and run the risk of becoming entirely lost to The Path. Remember the Biblical words: "My people are lost for lack of Knowledge".

That is why the candidate who devotes himself to the Path of the Rose, the path of liberating Service, has to walk a sevenfold road. This road is described in-depth in The Alchemical Wedding of Christian Rosycross. It is the Path of Rebirth of the Original Man, a path that always leads through a valley of death. For rebirth to happen, something must die in order that something else -- something more noble, more sublime, more exalted -- might be given the opportunity to manifest itself. That is why this Path is characterized not only by profound joy and new inner unfoldment, but also -- to a certain extent and only for a time -- by suffering and sorrow. However, it is the suffering of the Fire of Purification, which destroys everything unholy and debased, in order to prepare a place for what is Immaculate, Pure and Imperishable.

All those who perceive the distress and the suffering of mankind in these times, and experience The Call going out from the Gnosis to the depths of his heart, will be unable to do otherwise than resolve to follow this sevenfold path of elevation and service.

Countless multitudes have been taught from childhood on to seek the kingdom of God, the realm of Christ, outside themselves. In consequence, all the values, all the abilities present in them for the purpose of establishing this kingdom, flow away. In this way, as if in a warped mirror-image, they project outside themselves what should be established within them. This image has no reality, no life, but is the product of delusion.

The Light, the modern Spiritual School of the Gnosis, cries out to all of them: Turn around! Return to your true Path of Life! You, too, can bring to life the Divine Nuclear Principle within you, the Rose of the Heart in your heart sanctuary. In you, too, the magical blood of renewal can perform  the miracle of Rebirth.

The Path we are showing to you must not be sought outside yourself -- where you will find only delusion and clouds of mist -- but turn to the Kingdom of God that is within you. Unlock this Divine World and set free the Immortal Man, the Soul-man in your heart, through your total, alchemical sacrifice. In the Rose you possess the Key to that world.

May the impending world revolution be, for all of us, the Dawn of Attainment!

The Imperishable Seed Within - Part I (Re-Post)

We would like now to speak to those who are consciously preparing for the immediate future, in an awareness of all the coming events. We want to address those who possess a personality whose consciousness is focused upon the Magnificent and Glorious Aim that lies at the foundation of our microcosm. That aim is to awaken from its sleep of death the last remnant of the Original Man that lies sunken in the microcosm as an imperishable seed, and bring it to new life.

This Imperishable Seed in the centre of the microcosm is the foremost thing that has been forgotten by present-day man. It is this Seed of which the Bible says: "The Kingdom of God is within you", indeed, God Himself lies sunken within you. Having been mis-informed for centuries, present-day mankind has forgotten that the Kingdom of God is not to be sought outside himself. And it goes without saying that if one seeks outside what is only present inside, one will never find, and will stray further and further. And as a result one will fall all the more rapidly into the power of the anti-man within.

We call the last remnant of the Original Man -- the Christ-principle in man -- the "Rose of the Heart". When the personality is born in the microcosm, the Rose of the Heart coincides with the heart of the personality, and it will be able to manifest itself therein, provided the necessary conditions are created. Thus, the Rose is not a part of the personality and cannot be pin-pointed in it organically. The Rose is an organic part of the microcosm, and it is always at the disposal of the personality that is prepared to accept its high calling, its One True Vocation, and to demonstrate his willingness with action. Then, as we put it,  "the Rose is attached to the Cross", to the 'cross' of the personality. The dynamic personality, properly orientated, then receives the Seed-Grain of Renewal in the heart sanctuary and thus becomes a true Rosicrucian.

If a human being takes the decision to place his life in the service of his high, divine calling, and approach The Path in humility, he comes into contact with the radiation-field of the universal Gnosis. This exalted radiation-field is cosmic in nature, and in it the Divine Seed, the Last Remnant, can grow and flourish. It is impossible for this Imperishable Seed to germinate in the field of degenerate duality. Anyone who remains in that field and goes on absorbing himself in it so that it claims all of his attention, will perish; he will go the way of all flesh. Such a person can never be called a Rosicrucian; he can never, with C.R.C., be a Brother of the Rosycross.

All who wish to walk the True Path of Liberation need the light of the gnostic sun, the sunlight, the solar power radiating from the heart of our planet. And yet, the personality of the person who has to carry the Divine Seed to the Light, who must serve and help the Rose for such a long time, is entirely of this dualistic nature. So it is the person of whom it is said: "Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God" and thus cannot enter it, who must begin and accomplish The Great Work.

This is quite a marvelous situation, is it not? So marvelous, that anyone who fully fathoms its significance is, as it were, shot through with joy and gratitude. The human being who has fastened the Rose to the Cross, has temporarily connected duality and the Gnosis, time and eternity. This is clearly a scientific impossibility, a state that cannot be maintained. For that reason, the dualistic personality will devote himself to this impossibility, by serving totally the Rose of the Heart, the Imperishable Seed in him. His devotion and service will be so complete that he begins to prepare himself to die the alchemical death of self-surrender. He fulfills the words: 'He who is willing to lose his life for My sake, shall find the life'. The person who dedicates himself in this way, in total self-surrender to the Rose, enters transfiguration. It is a fully conscious, existential perishing in an absolute endura. It is the process exemplified by many Brotherhoods in the past.

The dualistic human being who thus devotes himself to the immortal Rose of the Heart, knows that he is entering a radiation-field that is not his. He knows that he will be totally consumed by it. So he dedicates himself to the fire, to the divine flames of Purification. Realize the mighty significance, the profound meaning of all those stories about this, which have been handed down to us from the past! For it is just this that is so wonderful: that if we dedicate our entire mortal being to the divine fire, that fire means Life for us.

A dualistic person who remains true to his nature, goes the way of death. Eventually, nothing will be left of him. But anyone who walks the path of the endura in total self-sacrifice, in complete devotion to the Original Man in him, is alchemically integrated into The New Man. Through the fire of his Way of the Cross, he merges alchemically with the New Human Being that arises from the Imperishable Seed. He is resurrected in the Other One. And in him unfolds a true alchemical wedding, just like the one C.R.C. describes. His voluntary perishing, his endura, is thus a death unto Life, a resurrection into imperishability, in contrast to dualistic death which is inescapably accompanied by the total destruction of nature.

Imagine a transparent sphere in three dimensions. That sphere represents your microcosm. In the middle of the sphere, place a tiny dot. That tiny dot represents the Imperishable Seed, the Divine-Spark, the Rosebud. Now, place a human form within the transparent sphere, aligning it in such a way that the Rosebud is aligned with the the upper right-ventricle of the physical heart. This is the configuration of the microcosm and the personality when we are born.

At birth and during our lifetime there is no connection between the Divine-Spark and the human personality. A link between the two has not yet been established. This Divine-Spark, the Rose of the Heart "...is the divine seed which has been kept as a promise of salvation within fallen man, so that, one day, the moment will come when he will remember his Origin and will be filled with a longing for the House of the Father. Then the light of the spiritual sun, the light of the Gnosis, can awaken the slumbering Rose-bud. After a positive and persevering reaction the Process of Regeneration will commence in accordance with the Divine Plan of Salvation".

Just as a tiny seed carries within it everything necessary to generate a mighty adult tree, so too, does the sevenfold Divine-Spark contains within it everything that is required to re-establish the Original Divine Human Being. The Imperishable Seed lies dormant within the hearts of each one of us, waiting for us to execute the actions necessary to awaken It. Instead, we insist on taking the path of least resistance, content to frolic and play in the mud-pile that is this illusory existence, life after life failing to find our way to the House of the Father.

A seed requires good soil, water and sunshine in order to fulfil its potential. With these few humble assets, it can execute its pre-ordained mission to grow into a mighty tree. Awakening the Divine-Spark requires that man turn his gaze away from the physical illusion and begin to yearn with all his heart for the True Life, for a Return Home. It is this heartfelt longing that will attract the radiations of the Gnosis. This divine "rain" will then water the Imperishable Seed that man carries within. The petals of the Rose-bud, so tightly closed for so many long ages, will thirstily receive these divine radiations (for like attracts like) and steadily begin to unfold.

It is only then that the link between the Divine-Spark and the physical human is cemented. The "Rose" of the microcosm has been attached to "the Cross" of physical matter: man! The Great Work of alchemical transformation can begin! Thanks Be!

Do your part to ensure that this wonderful process of Re-birth can take place within you. You have all of the ingredients necessary to "bake this cake". What is now required is that you gain knowledge of the process while simultaneously making a fundamental reversal in the way that you live your life. There is nothing to be afraid of. You will not "die" or cease to be. In truth of fact, you will finally live. You will live in the manner that was intended for all of mankind prior to The Fall: Divine. Immortal. In Unity with All That Is.

May you attract, by way of your earnest longing, Living Water for the divine Seed you carry within.
