Dream
It is a most difficult task to tear one's self away from the only 'reality' one has ever known, but tear away one must, if one is to ever obtain an opportunity to return to man's Divine Home.
When you fall asleep at night, your dreams become real. For those few hours, that is your 'reality', and you are consumed by it.
This life is no different. We are asleep; asleep and mesmerized by a most fantastic dream. We are also paralyzed and unable to move. Our eyelids refuse to open. And so, we slumber on, not knowing of the worlds that await our seeing, if we would only open our eyes.

had great dreams last night. technicolored new worlds...eyes wide open. I'm considering pupilship in LR...have you? or just continuing on a solitary journey through the writings of jvr and cdp which may suit me better. interestingly in my most lucid dreams where i know I'm dreaming...the hardest part is opening my eyes in the dream..its like they're rubber cemented closed. i find it an odd parallel to what you wrote yesterday 'This life is no different. PS i read through your entire blog in about 5 days. first post was when i researched that television book and found you. then i wanted to see how you got to Jan Van Rijckenborgh cuz I've been a seeker for 20+ years and just found this amazing writer/mystic. Keep on sharing your self, its invaluable.
The decision to become a pupil of the LRC is one that can only be made by the individual, when the individual is ready to take that step. Outwardly, nothing changes. There are no lavish ceremonies or titles to be bestowed. One is asked only to live the teachings, to maintain their link with the Gnosis, to undergo self-demolition every minute of every day, to serve and keep serving, to give and keep giving, in whatever way they can.

You are responding to the Call. Continue to follow the silent Voice of the Rose that has led you to this point. Do not let the "I" interfere in the process, the "I" will do its best to mislead, deceive and discourage you.
As for pupilship, that decision was made several years ago. Never looked back. Highly recommended, but it's always best for one to learn as much as one can about such things before committing to it. We're advised to count the cost...
