Surprise!

"Dying is like waking from a dream"

In the moments following death, we will immediately realize that we have been dreaming all along.

A very special dream.

A very real dream.

A dream with experiences and consequences.

So, navigate your dream well.

Choose Courage

The last few posts have focused upon death (so-called) and fear of same. It was felt that the times that we are presently experiencing required that we take a sober and objective look at this specter that hovers over our lives although it hides in the shadows of our consciousness.

We all know that we are going to die. That is a certainty that we shove into a box in the attic of our consciousness and cover with a blanket. We shut the door and do not visit that attic if we can help it.

But the shadow follows us. We never face it, so we do not learn to understand it. As human beings, we tend to fear that which we do not understand. Many fear death (so-called) because they do not know what will happen after we transition. Again, that which we do not know of, we fear.

The prior posts were published in an effort to present the truth to all who may have ears to hear. The truth is that we have nothing to fear from death (so-called).

Death is like taking off all of our clothes, opening a door, walking through that door, and then closing the door behind us. Anyone who walks into the room will see our discarded clothing and will conclude that we are no longer there. But we are behind the door, alive as ever, and unburdened by the heavy clothing that we once wore.

Life is a continuum. Nothing ever dies. Things merely transform. For all of us, each life is a new page in a very thick book. So, keep these things in mind for the future.

The global circumstances of the past two years have been purposely designed and orchestrated to tap into our fear of death and stir up uncertainty, doubt, anxiety, worry and unreasonable dread. It is well known by those who control the activities of the world that human-beings do not react well to fear. When humans are in fear, most will look to others for direction and leadership. If the wrong leaders are in place, disaster can result.

Due to our unreasonable fear of death, the world is now following dictates that do not have our best interests at heart. Instead of resisting, we are complying. Instead of questioning, we are accepting. Instead of acting, we are allowing ourselves to be led.

It has been famously said that Earth is the Planet of Choice. Everything on this planet happens due to choice. If we are dominated by others, then it is by choice. If we are tricked and fooled by the crafty, it is by choice. If we are coerced into doing things that we know in our heart are not right, then we have allowed those things to happen, again by choice.

During these critical times, we must choose whether we are going to allow ourselves to be ruled by Fear or by Courage. We must choose whether we will use our God-given reasoning abilities to question the false narrative that is being shoved down our throats or if we will merely accept the lies of our "authorities", who are nothing but wolves in sheep's clothing.

What belies all of our uncertainty is the fear of death. These last few posts have attempted to remind you that there is nothing to fear from death. Whether by violence, by old age or by manufactured flu. We will continue to Live, just as we always have.

Once we discard the fear of death, those who control us will lose their control over us. This is what the Gnosis comes to share with us. Fear is in the mind. If we focus our consciousness on holding onto something that is designed to be temporary - such as physical existence - we will remain in a fearful state-of-consciousness. But if we focus our consciousness on the Immortal Spirit-spark that burns within the center of our life-system and its Eternal presence, we will come to realize that there is nothing to fear, that there has never been anything to fear, and that there will never be anything to fear...for all Eternity.

Choose Courage.

Where Is This Leading?

You may have noticed that the most recent posts have focused upon the subject of "death" (so-called) in one way or another. I imagine that you are also wondering why?

I will try to explain in the next post.

The Worst That Could Happen

What is it about death (so-called) that causes us to fear it so much? What is the worst that can happen?

1. Pain

2. Missing Our Loved Ones

3. Unfinished Business

4. Failure to Find the Path

Let's take a quick look at these factors.

1. Pain

Fear of the pain that we associate with death is something that we try to push to the back of our minds. But this pain is evident all around us, we see it happening everywhere to our dying brothers and sisters, so naturally, we assume that when our incarnation is winding down, pain will be our lot as well.

Generally, physical pain will accompany us as we near the end of our incarnation if it is part of our karma to experience it. For most of us, the end will arrive quietly. Our consciousness will withdraw its focus on the physical plane and relax the magnetic attraction that binds the etheric/physical particles of the body together.

If you want to know what death (so-called) is like, then simply monitor yourself as you fall asleep at night. As your eyes close and you relax, at one moment you will be physically present and in the blink of an eye you seamlessly transition into a blessed sort of unconscious state. Your consciousness withdraws from the physical plane and intensifies its focus on the astral planes of the planet, where you have experiences during the night that we call "dreams".  Your perception has moved from one reality to a different reality.

There is an old expression that states: "Sleep and Death are like brothers". There is much truth to that axiom.

Finally, for those who may have to experience pain at the end, medical science has created powerful anti-pain medications that will numb the nerves and block the pain messages that the body sends to the brain. These ones will not feel much at all.

In cases of violence or accident, there are usually karmic reasons for incarnations to end in such uncomfortable ways.  The reasons are revealed to us when we reach The Other Side.

Take care of the body. Purify your thoughts and emotions. Live a life of Love and Service to others. Do not become attached to the things of this world. Non-attachment will make it easier for us to let go when it comes time for us to transition from the physical plane.

2. Missing Our Loved Ones

The primary reason for this fear usually does not hit us until we are very near the end. While we are alive and healthy, we ignore our loved ones, we mistreat them, we take them for granted, etc. To avoid feelings of regret at the end, we should show Love to our friends and family every moment that we can. Never leave a friend or loved one without showing them that you love them, either by word or by deed. Treat each moment with a loved one as if it were the last time you were going to see them. This will help to prevent these fears from arising.

3. Unfinished Business

There are so many things that we are juggling on a daily basis. We toil to create favorable lives for ourselves and our loved ones. We plan for the future. When confronted with our transition from the physical plane, we fear leaving so many plans unrealized, projects unfinished, hopes and dreams unfulfilled.

It helps to get our affairs in order in the here and now, even if we are in excellent health or in the prime of life. This is the best we can do for those we leave behind. As for future plans and unfinished projects, these things should not be of serious concern to us. When we reach the Other Side, all of these things that we think are so important when our consciousness was focused on physical plane reality will be seen in their proper perspective.

Live fully in the Now. As the Christ stated "....do not worry about Tomorrow, for Tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own".

4. Failure to Find the Path

This is actually not a true Fear that occurs to us as we approach death (so-called) because most human-beings are completely unaware that there is a Path that will remove us from the Wheel of Death and Rebirth and will sever our obligation to incarnate over and over again.

This Path can only be located if we open our heart centers and allow the immortal divine Spirit-spark to reconnect with the Universal Spirit. This re-linking will inhale the Living Waters of the Universal Spirit into the life-system of the human-being, purifying and transforming the human-being from Man to Manas, the state of the Original, Divine Human-being.

But as it is said, "You can't miss what you have never had". Since we do not have knowledge of the Path, we do not regret in not having found it. When we reach the Other Side and things that were hidden to us during physica life are revealed, we will understand that we missed our True Purpose while we were on Earth and that we must return yet again, in a new body, in similar or different circumstances, and in total forgetfulness, to try to find the Path once more.

We will remain on the Wheel of Death and Rebirth until we find our True Purpose while on Earth, until we find the Path of Return and follow it to a Good End.

Thus, the fear that we are least aware of should actually be the one of greatest concern.

In conclusion, it is not Death that we fear. It is the Fear of Death that we fear.

Contemplate the first three Fears and try to see if you can find any wisdom within them.

Contemplate the fourth Fear and see if it inspires you to find the Path that leads to freedom before you put the body aside.

There Is No Death

There is no death! The stars go down
To rise upon some other shore,
And bright in heaven's jeweled crown
They shine forevermore.

There is no death! The forest leaves
Convert to life the viewless air;
The rocks disorganize to feed
The hungry moss they bear.

There is no death! The dust we tread
Shall change, beneath the summer showers
To golden grain, or mellowed fruit,
Or rainbow-tinted flowers.

There is no death! The leaves may fall,
And flowers may fade and pass away--
They only wait, through wintry hours,
The warm, sweet breath of May.

There is no death! Although we grieve
When beautiful, familiar forms
That we have learned to love are torn
From our embracing arms--

Although with bowed and breaking heart,
With sable garb and silent tread,
We bear their senseless dust to rest,
And say that they are "dead,"

They are not dead! They have but passed
Beyond the mists that blind us here
Into the new and larger life
Of that serener sphere.

They have but dropped their robe of clay
To put their shining raiment on;
They have not wandered far away--
They are not "lost" nor "gone."

Though disenthralled and glorified
They still are here and love us yet;
The dear ones they have left behind
They never can forget.

And sometimes, when our hearts grow faint
Amid temptations fierce and deep,
Or when the wildly raging waves
Of grief or passion sweep,

We feel upon our fevered brow
Their gentle touch, their breath of balm;
Their arms enfold us, and our hearts
Grow comforted and calm

And ever near us, though unseen,
Our dear, immortal spirits tread--
For all God's boundless universe
Is life--there are no dead!

Fear Not

"People live in fear of death, when in truth there is no death.
It is only a change from one condition to another."

This unreasonable fear, rooted in ignorance, is responsible for probably 90% of the poor decisions that we make as human-beings.

We see the short life-span and do our best to cram as much "living" into our existence as possible.

We see the inevitable end to what appear to be meaningless lives and strive to "leave our mark" by aspiring to become rich, famous or powerful.

We see death as the end of a hopeless existence and so we devalue our lives and lash out at others or cavalierly attempt to end our own lives, as if that will solve anything. In truth, that only results in more problems when we reach the Other Side.

We see our existence as a "hell" and so we throw caution to the wind and abuse our bodies with powerful hallucinogens in order to escape physical reality and focus our consciousness on the astral worlds, the reflection-sphere.

Our present state-of-consciousness cannot perceive anything further than the physical realm. It keeps us thinking that existence is this tiny box called Earth and that there is nothing beyond life and death here in this vale of tears.

Nothing can be further from the Truth. We are immortal beings trapped in a mortal existence. We have forgotten our former existence as Co-creators, our close connection with the Universal Spirit.  Without the impeccable guidance of Spirit, we are unable to properly navigate our circumstances or remember our true purpose for being here.

That is why we must first learn to silence the Fear that comes from not-knowing. We must obtain critical self-knowledge about our true nature.

One of the first things we must learn is that we have nothing to fear from "death" (so-called). At our core, we are eternal beings. We have to begin thinking with an Eternity Consciousness and stop counting the days until our withdrawal from the earth-plane.

Be Still, and hear the Voice of the Silence that calls out to you from your Spirit-Spark. It is this Voice that will guide you to the Path. It is this Voice that will lead you back to your True and Eternal Home

We Mistake Transformation for "Death"

You are probably familiar with the expression "Death is a part of Life". This ancient axiom can be improved upon if we say "Death is Life expressing itself in a manner that is not easily apprehended by humanity". A bit long for an axiom, I know, haha. Let's take a deeper look at this statement.

Hermes states that "Man mistakes transformation for death". This is a true and accurate statement because the activity that we human-beings see as "death" are actually the life processes of disintegration manifesting before our eyes.

Let's start at the Beginning. Before anything was created, there existed only the Uncreated, the Source, the Birthless, Deathless, Infinite All. The All is everything that has ever been and the potential for everything that will ever be. It is the Uncreated Source of every Created thing.

Every atom of the primordial substance that is used by Source to create is ALIVE. This has to be so because these primordial atoms emanate from the Source, which is the essence of True Life.

Every atom of Creation is IMMORTAL. This has to be so because these primordial atoms emanate from the Source, which is Birthless and Deathless.

All created things are composed of these LIVING, IMMORTAL atoms. Certain universal laws initiate attraction among these living, immortal atoms and certain intelligences work to ensure that these living, immortal atoms are assembled in such a way as to manifest as universes, galaxies, constellations, solar systems, planets, human-beings, flora, fauna, and minerals.

Of course, here we are talking about creative activity on the physical plane, the Seventh Cosmic Domain, the most crystallized part of this Creation. The physical plane is a TEMPORARY nature-order. There is nothing that is permanent about it. The only constant here is CHANGE. Things evolve and then devolve. There are constant beginnings and endings. Everything Rises, Shines, and then Fades, only to Rise again on a future turn of the Spiral

The human-being is not excluded from this Law of Temporality. We are born, flower in maturity and then we "die". I prefer to state that we "relinquish the physical form and return to the more subtle regions of the physical plane. The manner in which this takes place can be explained thusly:

Rising: When we are "born" into Earth-life. a physical body is built by the forces of ATTRACTION. The minerals and vital energies necessary for building a physical body are attracted via the foods that the mother eats, the air that she breathes, the thoughts and emotions that she surrounds herself with as well as the vital energies inherent in the union of the creative fluids of the woman and the man. All of these things are ruled by a force of Attraction which ultimately results in a physical body.

Shining: During growth and maturation, this force of Attraction grows stronger due to the focus of the indwelling consciousness. The living, immortal atoms are held together by this force of Attraction and so we see growth and maturity.

Fading: As the human-being moves towards the final segment of Earth-life, the force of Attraction begins to wane. This is due in part to the Consciousness beginning to release its focus on the incarnation and turning its gaze to a return to the move subtle spheres of the physical world. Also, the heart of the Earth is exerting its own attractive forces, pulling and tugging at the mineral elements of the human-being. Remember, LIKE ATTRACTS LIKE. Thus, a separation is beginning to manifest itself.

"Death" (So-called): 'Death' is merely what happens after the mortal Soul that animated the physical body is withdrawn by the Consciousness. When this happens, the forces of Attraction that held all of the living atoms together in a cooperative unity are relaxed, and the atoms become "disorganized", for want of a better word. The Soul returns to its regions where a further dematerialization will take place over time. The LIVING, IMMORTAL physical atoms return to the Earth, where they will essentially be recycled to assemble new physical creations.

We call this process of disorganization "decay" and associate it with the permanent loss of Life. This is far from the case. What we are seeing are LIVING, IMMORTAL atoms being released from their task so that they can await their next task.

The "dust to dust" phrase so ominously pronounced by the churches refer to nothing more than the physical atoms, the minerals that constitute the human body (of which there are said to be twelve) being returned to their mineral sources. Because we are NOT our bodies, this process of decay does not mean that the human-being is "dead". It only means that the human-being has discarded its physical garment. Where the remains of the human-being go after "death" the physical body cannot go. The etheric, emotional and mental bodies, as well as the consciousness have withdrawn but remain alive as ever in more subtle forms. Because we cannot see these forms, we erroneously postulate that the human-being is "dead".

With that said, I will leave you now with the following quote, excerpted from The Egyptian Arch-Gnosis, Vol. 4, by Jan van Rijckenborgh:

"People are accustomed to calling the pronounced intervention of disintegration 'death'. But in essence, 'death' is nothing else than the stimulation of living metabolism. A body disintegrates into living atoms. The atom itself, the Unit in the universe, is never lost. Atoms combine to form bodies and then they separate again. Life remains Absolute. 'Death' is all in the mind."

That which is IMMORTAL can never die. Remember that.

Happiness is Not the Point

Many believe that 'happiness' is the ultimate goal to be achieved during earth-life. It is the prize. A constant and unceasing state of harmonious, self-pleasing 'happiness' is supposed to be the hallmark of a well-spent and successful life. This mindset, coupled with the fact that humans, if lucky, can expect to live an average of 72 years, drives human-beings to expend an enormous amount of energy in a fruitless "pursuit of happiness".

Thus, racing to beat the clock-of-death, every setback drives man to panic. Why aren't things working out for me? Why can't I get the things that I want? I just want to be 'happy'. Why can't I be 'happy'??

Here's your answer, friend: You will never be 'happy' in this life because earth-life is not designed to bestow permanent 'happiness' upon anyone. We live in a dialectical reality, a duality, where everything has its opposite and everything eventually turns into its opposite. If one manages to obtain a semblance of 'happiness', he or she can be certain that it will not last. Eventually, that 'happiness' will turn into its opposite. Things cannot be otherwise.

This dialectical nature-order is temporal. Everything about it screams temporary. The only constant to be found is change. In keeping with that fundamental law, the events in our lives swing back and forth between two poles, like a pendulum in perpetual motion.

So then, what is the ultimate point of Earth-life? And why was this nature-order purposely designed to prevent an eternal state of 'happiness'? Well, let's think about it. If humans could find a way to obtain permanent 'happiness' here on earth, we would cease to progress. We would not seek for anything higher because we would be completely content with what we have. We would crystallize into a state that would truly doom our microcosms to the Outer Darkness.

This is why death (so-called) comes to humanity. It comes to break up that which is in danger of crystallizing. It comes to afford the microcosm a fresh opportunity to create yet another personality that will not squander a valuable incarnation seeking 'happiness' on the horizontal plane of dialectics, but will seek the Gnosis, the true Knowledge of God, the Keys to Freedom, and the Path to the eternal bliss that can only be found in the Divine Kingdom.

Lines of Force

In The Rosicrucian Cosmo-Conception, Max Heindel tells us:

"If a dish of cold water be placed in an atmosphere of a sufficiently low temperature, ice crystals immediately begin to form and we can see the process of their formation. The lines along which the water crystallizes were in it all the time as lines of force but they were invisible until the water congealed."

As Below, So Above.

Just as water contains within its being the lines of force that will enable it to become ice once the temperature falls below freezing, so too, does the Spirit-spark that is located in the center of the human life-system contain all of the lines-of-force necessary to enable the human-being to regain its former god-like stature.

This means that we have everything within us that we need to effect the transformation from an ego-driven, mortal human-being to an immortal, spirit-soul human-being. All that is required is an open heart and the proper growth environment.

Plants need good soil, sunshine and rain to blossom and thrive.

The snowflake or ice crystal requires the right level of temperature.

The spirit-soul human-being requires that we provide the Spirit-spark - what Rosicrucians call "the Rosebud" - with the proper environment for growth and blossoming.

Sunshine - pure thoughts, objective and neutral mental attitude

Water - pure emotions and unselfish desires

Soil - pure etheric and physical bodies

With this special vibratory environment in place, the Rosebud will gracefully bloom and fill the human life-system with the ambrosia of the Universal Spirit. The consciousness of such a human-being will then expand wide enough to perceive Eternity and participate fully in all universes, all domains, all Creations.

The Three Questions

Who are we?

Where do we come from?

Where are we going?

Who are we? We are individual, immortal sparks of the Universal Spirit, dispersed by the Eternal Oneness, the Creator, the Source of All. Think of what happens when we thrash a roaring campfire. The sparks fly everywhere. Each spark is a miniature replica of the campfire itself, containing all of the properties of the campfire and having the properties of illumination, the ability to burn objects, light other fires, etc.

It is the same with our Spirit-spark, which resides in the center of our microcosm, our life-system. Our Spirit-spark is a holographic replica of the Eternal Oneness, a pure offshoot of the Original Fire, as it were.

The physical body is but the outer covering, the shell, the home that guards this Spark.

Where do we come from?  As stated above, at our core, we are holographic emanations of the Universal Spirit. This means that we have within us all of the powers and attributes of the Eternal Oneness. It must be so! If we cut a branch from a tree, how can that branch not contain everything that the tree is?

So, within the center of our being sleeps a Great Power. One that will re-link our consciousness to the Universal Spirit once we can elevate our awareness from a state of ego-consciousness to one of spirit-soul consciousness. This process begins when we open our hearts and allow our Spirt-spark - the Rose of the Heart - to spread its healing and transformative energy throughout our entire life-system.

Where are we going? As Divine Sparks of the All, our primary Purpose is to explore and experience the Realm of Matter and to bring that experience back to Source. Spirit is of such a high vibration that it cannot function in the dense physical world. For that reason, physical bodies are provided to the individual sparks of Spirit for use in navigating these "depths". Think of what a diving suit does for a deep-sea diver.

As long as we remain ignorant of the Spark that lives within us, we will remain here on Earth, prospecting for the Truth. Repeated lives will be required to provide our Spirit-spark with fresh physical bodies. We will repeat the cycle of death-and-rebirth until we finally develop a physical personality that can recognize the answer to the Three Questions and make the decision to finally release our focus on the things of this world and walk the Path of Return to the Good End.

Know God

How can we know God?

Hermes Trismegistus - Hermes, the Thrice-Great - advises us as follows:

“If then, you do not make yourself equal to God, you cannot apprehend God; for like is known by like.

Leap clear of all that is corporeal, and make yourself grown to a like expanse with that Greatness which is beyond all measure;

Rise above all time and become eternal; then you will apprehend God.

Think that for you too nothing is impossible;

Deem that you too are immortal, and that you are able to grasp all things in your thought, to know every craft and science;

Find your home in the haunts of every living creature;

Make yourself higher than all heights and lower than all depths;

Bring together in yourself all opposites of quality, heat and cold, dryness and fluidity;

Think that you are everywhere at once, on land, at sea, in heaven;

Think that you are not yet begotten, that you are in the womb, that you are young, that you are old, that you have died, that you are in the world beyond the grave;

Grasp in your thought all of this at once, all times and places, all substances and qualities and magnitudes together;

Then you can apprehend God.

But if you shut up your soul in your body, and abase yourself, and say “I know nothing, I can do nothing; I am afraid of earth and sea, I cannot mount to heaven; I know not what I was, nor what I shall be,”

Then what have you to do with God?”

"For Like is Known by Like". Carefully ponder these words.

Change the World

Many have a desire to "change the world", "save the earth", or help with this or that cause. All of those are noble and honorable thoughts but most will fall short of their objective because the aim will be a self-focused one. It will be "I want to do this" and "I want to do that".

The  desire to change must emanate from the Spirit-spark that resides in the center of our life-system. It must be a desireless desire, one that sees the objective but will not be bound to the results, whether positive or negative.

The one thing that we can do to help change the world is quite within our grasp. It is something that we can control and it is not a massive undertaking.

We can change ourselves.

We can become that which we want the world to become.

Any permanent change in our own thoughts, feelings and actions will be felt by the entire world. That is because all of us are connected with all of the rest of us, as if by invisible threads. So effecting change in ourselves is a guaranteed way to provide lasting help to the Earth and to her humanity.

Change Yourself, Change the World.

To Be Silent

"It is well to get used even now to thinking carefully before speaking. Much common talk is unnecessary and foolish; when it is gossip, it is wicked.

So be accustomed to listen rather than to talk; do not offer opinions unless directly asked for them. One statement of the qualifications gives them thus:

To Know, to Dare, to Will, and to be Silent;

...and the last of the four is the hardest of them all."

The Purpose of Confusion

The Purpose of Confusion

 “God turns you from one feeling to another and teaches by means of opposites so that you will have two wings to fly, not one.”

 - Rumi -

The state of dialectics in which we exist is not a curse; it is simply our life-field. We can fight it, or we can accept it. Accepting it is easier. Walking the Path becomes easier when we realize that all the confusion that builds up within us is there to help us on our journey.

We have chosen to embark on this Path from our current state – whatever it may be, wherever we may be – because we experience within ourselves the necessity to find our true home. We remember this true home from the core of our being, from the Rose of the Heart, the Spark of the Spirit that has remained within our heart sanctuary throughout our long exile. Now that we are conscious of this potential - this possibility in our lifetime - we can pursue our aim to reunite the essence of our being with the divine Source of all being.

When the head sanctuary has been touched by the Light that is reflected into it from the heart, then there comes a moment of elation that the darkness has been won over by the Light. The consciousness clears—but only for a moment, for there is much still to learn and to earn. We are still subject to images from our world of opposites, and we still react to them. We are still subject to our knee-jerk reactions and getting stuck in the ruts that we have made along the roads of our lives.

Getting stuck is not the fault of our world of opposites. No, it is the result of our perception of it. It is the result of our desire to make the world fit our needs, rather than fitting ourselves to the necessities of the world. In popular parlance, it is the result of service-to-self rather than service-to-others.

A new development becomes possible only on a completely new basis. A new development is made possible by becoming aware of the confusion created by the dual and opposite influences of our old, conditioned thinking versus the new possibilities presented by impulses from the essence of our being, from our divine potential in the heart. A new part of the Path opens by maintaining focus on the goal and refusing to lose courage. The automatic reactions of trifling thoughts will then be observed clearly enough and soon enough to stop them in their tracks.

Rumi’s words take on a personal meaning as we see the paths of our lives more clearly and as we detach ourselves from the patterns of the past. Our “two wings” give us stability and the power to climb higher and higher on the Path and to experience the Joy and Freedom of each step.

Stopping the "Madness"

This post is in response to questions posed by Claude in his comments dated 18 November 2021:

To all:

"Madness" is investing in the delusion of existence that we accept as "reality". Madness is believing and reinforcing the lie that each human-being is separate from the other, separate from the animals, the plants, the earth, the solar system.

If one has truly found and accepted the Path then one should be consumed with Joy, not with Misery. This Joy arises out of the insight that we have gained, the insight that reveals to us that at our very core, we are eternal beings. There is no death for us. When the fear of death (so-called) evaporates, then we take a huge step on the road to discovering our True Purpose for existing. We have removed a large stumbling block from our Path.

Another important insight is that we should stop seeing ourselves as the center of the universe. When we live from an ego-based consciousness, we are easily displeased whenever we do not get what we want. We call this denial of self-satisfaction "unhappiness" when there is actually no such thing as "unhappiness". "Unhappiness" is simply what the human-being calls the emotion that we feel when we do not get want we want. In order to do away with "unhappiness", we must cease to desire pleasure and satisfaction for ourselves. If these things happen to come our way, fine. If they flee from us, that is also fine. We must learn to look at Life with neutral, objective, and somewhat detached eyes. If we do not do this, then we will doom ourselves to being ceaselessly tossed about upon the frothy seas of duality.

Learn to focus your attention away from yourself. Live for others. Do for others. When we live to serve others, we will find that there is no time to agonize over our perceived "problems". This is one way to calm the turbulence that roils within us. Care for yourself? Yes. But only to the limit of the biological minimum required for the physical instrument to live healthy and function properly.

Stand back and away from the perceptions of the selfish self and begin to see the Bigger Picture: you are an eternal being serving the Creator over a succession of repeated lives in temporary physical vehicles. Your mission is always to reconnect with the Universal Spirit, and to voluntarily allow Spirit to work through you for the benefit of sleeping humanity. Although you may have forgotten your purpose, you are trying hard to remember. The magnetic allure of the physical delusion is hampering your ability to move forward with clear vision. Recognize this and then release your attachment to the results of your actions in this world. Be IN the world, but not OF the world.

Notes on the Illusion

This post is in response to a comment left by Claude in the comments section of He Is Risen.

My friend,

Although it is often said that the world that we experience in is an "illusion", this is only partially true. Our existence is real insofar as our five senses are reporting to our consciousness the results of what they see, hear, taste, feel and touch. Our physical senses respond to the vibrations that are offered to us on the physical plane. Interpretation of these impressions makes the physical world "real" when perceived by our consciousness.

However, the physical realm is an illusion when it is compared against the True Reality, the reality of the Original Divine Kingdom, which is ever-existent and does not change. Physical reality is constantly changing. Everything is born, flourishes, and then dies. Rising, shining and fading are the hallmarks of physical existence. This physical realm was never intended to be an eternal home for humanity. It is a temporary domain where humanity must experience many lessons - some of them quite harsh - in order to find out that the physical world is NOT the True Reality. With this realization in hand, we can then begin to search for the Path of Return that will take us back to our Divine home.

So, yes, we experience in an illusion but we must not make the mistake of thinking that this illusion is not real. We can compare it to a dream. While we are asleep and dreaming, our dream is as real as it can be.We are totally immersed in the dream experience. The dream is all that exists for us. The dream is all that matters. The outside world still exists but our eyes (and to a certain extent our ears as well) are closed to the outside world during this period of  sleep. We are insensate to all physical impressions as long as we are asleep and dreaming. That is the best analogy that I can give about the nature of this illusion.

So there is a True Relaity that is waiting for us to return to it but we must first awaken from the Dream.

We are living in special times. There is a Transformation taking place, a transformation of the Earth and of her humanity. Part of this transformation process requires that the reflection-sphere (the so-called heaven worlds) must be cleansed, purified. As a result, the veil between the physical plane and the astral plane has thinned considerably. Astral plane phenomena are increasingly becoming a part of the physical world. Such things should be acknowledged but we should not agonize over them or focus upon them too much. Maintain an objective and neutral viewpoint if or when you perceive any of it.

The people that we meet in our lives are souls pursuing their own development. They are only "shadows" insofar as all physical forms are composed of light energy, condensed and compressed into particular densities and shapes. What is real about most of the people that we engage with is the Divine Spark, the light of the Universal Spirit that lives in the center of their microcosm in a location that correponds to the region of the human heart. Every human contact should be a soul-to-soul contact. That is what matters. This is why we are always advised to look beyond the physical when we encounter one another. Our contacts with each other should be silent conversations that take place at a much deeper level.

Try to approach human contact with these things in mind. Perhaps it will help.

There is never a time when those who are able to do so are not working the harvest. It has always been said that "The harvest is great and the workers but few". All hands are required to be on-deck and attending to their tasks during this period of harvest. Every moment is an opportunity to touch another human-being and to assist in their development and in the raising of their consciousness. Not merely with words but with the Silent Power that radiates from an awakened Divine Spark. Such individuals must be willing and able to share with humanity the Universal Light-Power that they are receiving.

Yes, we have to Live, Work, Eat, etc. But those who have awakened to the knowledge that there is an ever-existent, Divine Reality that awaits our return will be able to navigate this Dream, this "ïllusion", with feet on the ground while their heads are in the clouds. Now remember: do not discount the Illusion. The illusion has its purpose. There are Lessons that we have to learn, Karma that must be balanced, Experiences that must be shared. These things can only be properly done while we are incarnate in the physical illusion. So, we continue to do our duty in this world but do not aspire to worldly things. We strive to remain detached, neutral, and objective about all physical plane phenomena. We keep the following ancient axiom in mind always:

"Be IN the world but not OF the world".

He Is Risen

The following is re-posted once again, in remembrance of Easter and of The Resurrection that must take place within all of us ~ g

[QUOTING]

Let us pose the obvious question, the one logical problem:

'How can the fallen human-being become a god again? How can the prodigal son Thotmes return home?'

This problem and its solution is given in every Universal Philosophy: we are humans who are to become godsThe Great Messengers of humanity were gods who became human in order to show humans how to become gods.

If this problem stands clearly before you, you will know it was born 'in conflict', and that the road to it was toil and trouble. Like Prince Thotmes, you have to excavate your Sphinx, which will pose a great problem to you personally. If you neglect your Work for one moment, you will sink back into the bottomless depths of this nature. Then you will feel at one with this world, and you will become accustomed to it again. You must understand that for the defeated soul the question: 'How does the fallen human become a god again?' will develop enough motivation to be able to go the Path as a pilgrim to seek an answer the that question.

Hence we can say: Whoever has seen the Sphinx will enter the Pyramid.

The Pyramid is a temple of resurrection and not of worship. It is a temple not for symbolic acts but for instruction. It is a sepulchre. People can create a lot of mystification about it, but as the Pyramid is hewn in stone its essential language cannot be destroyed.

In our opinion everyone who has seen the Sphinx from within and everyone to whom the Sphinx has spoken, like Prince Thotmes, will be able to understand the stone language of the Pyramid. We say that the Sphinx makes the Call and that the Pyramid points out the Path.

From "The Mystery of the Sphinx and the Pyramid" - The Living Word - Catharose de Petri

[END QUOTING]

The ancients speak to us in symbols. Once you have the gnostic Key in hand, it is like reading an open book.

The Great Pyramid is a four-sided triangle, with a square base. Around the base one can draw a perfect circle. Triangle, Square, Circle.

These shapes have symbolic meaning:

Circle = the Eternal Spirit
Triangle = the Threefold Soul
Square = the fourfold Body

Thus the Pyramid itself represents the reunification of Spirit, Soul and Body, which is the ultimate aim of the transfiguristic Path of Return.

The interior of the Pyramid is constructed in such a way as to outline the steps of this Path using specific measurements, angles, different types of stone and sacred numerology (gematria). The exalted beings who constructed the Great Pyramid did so using a silent, common language that could speak to all human-beings, no matter what the time period. Of course, those human-beings would have to have the gnostic Key in hand.

During the time of the ancients, there were very, very few who were motivated to walk the Path of Return. Around the ancient world, those who showed that they were sincere about doing so were brought to secret places of initiation. This was the purpose of the Mayan and Aztec temples in the West. This was the purpose of the extensive system of caves in the Sabarthez region of southern France. This was the purpose of the Great Pyramid.

The Great Pyramid is not a tomb, as present-day bumbling archaeology earnestly chooses to define it. No physical human-being was ever buried there. It was a tomb for the I-being. It was where a true pupil was taken to complete the endura. It was where the old human-being died as to this nature and the New Man rose in its place.

That is why the "tomb" in the King's Chamber is empty. In silence, it expresses what was written regarding the Christed One on the day of His resurrection as a Divine Human Being:

"Why do you look for the Living among the dead? He is not here, He is risen". Luke 24:5-6

Crucifixion - The Victory of the Rose and the Cross

cru·ci·fix·ion

/ˌkro͞osəˈfikSHən/

From the Latin noun of process crucifixio, from perfect passive participle crucifixus (“fixed to a cross”), from crux (“cross”) + fīgō

Today, we will examine the hidden meaning of the word "crucifixion" and the event that is symbolized by that word.

We all know the image that comes to mind when we read or hear this word. The image of the man, Jesus, slumped and bloodied while hanging from a wooden cross. Some hold that this is an image of sacrifice. Others maintain that it is a image of defeat.

We are not going to speak about the event that took place on the hill of Golgotha over 2,000 years ago, although that even carries its own significance and import for the world and for humanity. We are only going to decode for you the meaning of this powerful symbol that everyone relates to but cannot fully understand.

The original, classical Rosicrucians of the 16th century embedded the symbolism of the crucifixion in their very name. "Rose" and "Cross". The Rose represents the Divine Spark that sleeps within the center of every microcosm and is aligned with the location of the human heart. The Cross represents the physical human-being, the being of Matter, that is rooted to the Earth.

In order to liberate the microcosm from its earthly chains, the immortal, Divine part of the human life-system (the Divine Spark, or the Rose) must become active within the human-being. "The Rose must be attached to the Cross of Matter". The human-being must "die" to this world in order to be reborn in the Divine Realms from which we originated.

In this powerful symbol, the human-being essentially "hangs up" the physical body and ceases all worldly activities. That is why the hands and feet are nailed to the Cross of Matter. Even the thinking faculty is compromised, symbolized by "the crown of thorns". The liver-spleen system, the seat of the All action in the physical world ceases.

The symbolic "death" on the Cross symbolizes a Great Victory. It symbolizes the victory of the candidate on the Path who has succeeded in accomplishing the endura, the process of self-surrender and fundamental reversal that all those who are walking the Path of Return must complete in order to throw open the doors of Liberation for the microcosm.

The symbolic representation of this Great Victory gives cause for rejoicing, not sorrow.

In a very short while, with the old, mortal human-being left to perish the Cross of Matter. the Immortal New Human-Being arises victorious on what has been aptly termed "Resurrection Day", the Day of Rebirth.

May we all succeed in attaching the Rose to the Cross.

Message for a Broken Man / The Nadir

The following comment was posted by Anonymous on Friday, December 04, 2020 4:41:00 AM:

"I've been waiting a long time to write this comment because I don’t even know what to say anymore. So far this path make me feel like there’s no purpose and I just don’t want to Exist anymore. All I get is obstacles waiting at every door, I get rid of one and 20 is behind it.

This quest has turned me into a broken man, I am not selfish but I wish that I never came to being, I live two lives with no end in sight. The delusion of this world is pure Insanity/ I don’t see nothing good but working as a confused machine, I used to believe that something good would come out of this but I no longer believe so."

My friend,

You have reached what is known as "the nadir" of your existence. It is the point at which you consciously realize that "All is vanity and vexation of Spirit".

When we are engrossed in the pursuits of the world, that is where our focus lies. Our consciousness is tuned in that direction. Earthly striving consumes us. Unknown to many is the fact that this world is a temporary nature-order. Nothing in this world is permanent. If you consider this deeply for a time you should be able to confirm this for yourself.

What is lasting in this world? What is it in this world that does not rust, or rot, or fade, or dissolve, or evaporate, or die? Everything comes into manifestation for a time and then passes on, transitioning into some else. This applies not only to material things but to our personal interactions and relationships. Nothing stays the same. Everything rises, shines and then fades. If we can understand this law, we can perhaps navigate the physical nature order with a minimum level of frustration and disappointment.  When we struggle against this law, we are met with what we deem to be "obstacles".

"Obstacles" are created by our own unfulfilled desires. When there are things that we want that we cannot achieve, we perceive this failure to achieve as being caused by some obstacle.  The obstacle, in fact, is our own state-of-consciousness. We believe that we can wring "happiness" out of this world when in truth, this world is not designed to provide us with happiness. Remember, this is a temporary nature-order. Humanity, as a life-wave, really does not belong here. Our purpose on Earth is to recognize that Earth is not our home and to take steps to detach ourselves from this nature-order and find the Path that leads back to the Divine Kingdom, our true Home.

At this critical point, the Divine Spark within your heart can begin to reach you. It is the only part of the human-being that is not connected with this physical existence. It is a remnant of our former existence in Divine realm. It is the central point in our microcosm and has been silently calling for us to  return home for long ages of time.

This nadir that you have reached is an important first step on your journey Home. You are seeing the futility of all earthly striving and are asking what is next. When we reach this nadir we should "be still" and listen for the silent call that issues continually from our Divine Spark, the Rose of the Heart. To be still, does not mean to sit quietly without moving or speaking. It means to stop our striving in the world beyond that which is necessary to live - the biological and social minimums. It means to silence the clamoring of the astral body by adopting an attitude of neutrality. It means to redirect our consciousness away from its focus on earthly striving for the sake of fulfilling the various desires of the selfish "I". It means to step back and allow the Other One that lives imprisoned within us to begin to emerge, to reestablish the link between Spirit and Matter and to reclaim its position as the guiding force behind our earthly personality.

It may be difficult to believe, my friend, but you are exactly where you should be if you wish to make a clean break from the chains that have bound you to the earth for thousands of lives. The nadir indicates that there is now only one direction in which you can go, and that is upwards, to the Heights.

Perhaps you can obtain some insights here:
